I'm from italy and here games cost double what they cost in America. I'm really tired of having to spend 50€ on a game every time and by now my 3DS is just sitting on a shelf since I don't have anything to play, so, since they are not even dropping prices, I thought I'd find some workarounds.

Is it possible to use a VPN to connect to, say, the american store and buy games from there? If it is, are those games going to work on my european 3DS? And do I need to make another account?

I searched a little bit here and there, but I can't find an answer.

(PS: I'm not sure if this had to be posted in the hacking forum)

Out of curiosity , which games cost 50€?? From what I know the higher price fir a game is 40€ which isn't that bad considering the amount of play you get.

Almost all first party titles cost between 45€ and 50€. Super Mario 3D land, Luigi's Mansion 2. The prices are generally pretty high.
I might have been spoiled by Steam, but I don't want to buy a game released almost at launch at full price. That's just crazy.

I'd by them used, but they don't seem to ever have used copies in stores.

If I buy in my country I pay 44€ for a new 3DS game, if I get it from uk I end up paying something like 35€ instead so I order all of my games from UK.
Anyway, for the 3ds there is now other way, you either order them from the UK like I do, or you pay 44€ or more for a 3ds game.
