Hacking Any idea what kind of r4i this is?

So i recently bought a r4i for 2$ from a friend, no idea what kind it is, no sticker ect (was his brothers, has no clue about it)
Peeled off the oval sticker and checked it on one of the fraud card checker (r4i-sdhc.com) and it said its legit,
When i looked at the files on the card there was save files from as early as 2010, a wifi folder, and a packed dsi games folder, so i assume with works for dsi 1.4.5 i just have t update it somehow?

it shows up as starwars on the dsi, but when i try and run it, i get an error saying to check the manual

welcome to the fourm!, as for the r4i, and if it is as legit as any r4 can get, than I think don't think it can handle the latest update. Just avoid any future updates, and you should be OK, The filetrip page says only 1.4.4 (sadly this update even killed my acekard, and many other flashcards). If the r4 update process is similar to the acekards, then you will need an older dsi or dslite to preform the update. Check here to see what cards work for which firmwares before updating/purchasing flashcards. good luck!

this should work out of the box for 1.4.5 correct?

Or you just buy one of the suggested cards like a R4i 3DS Gold from R4ids.cn or a Supercard DSTWO.

Please don't recommend for people to buy the r4-sdhc crap.
