Nintendo is awesome, but awful, also.
2DS WTF

2DS isn't aimed towards you.
actually i want a 2ds, not too big and not too small either and without the 3d its like the perfect 3ds for me
(not that i hate 3d in gaming just that 3d gaming its kind of awkward when im wearing glasses)
You know you can just turn it off... right? I feel like a lot of people really don't know that. What is it? "Well the switch is there so I feel like I have to have it on" ?

yeah i know you can turn it off. even if i havent bought a 3ds i know what it does and how it does it. so if i have the chance to buy a 3ds with a feature that i don't like that much the 2ds is the perfect option for me.

Back to the topic: it make sense having a mario game on november because you know black friday and they can do a mario wii u bundle if they want

I'm concerned about the lack of information about the game's actual content, considering its lukewarm reception. Power-ups? Amount of levels? Map or hub world? Sub-missions?

What if Nintendo are holding back on the info because they know that people aren't going to like their answers?

I'm not really opposed to it, I'm opposed to it's looks. I'm okay with how it's suitable for children and people with seizures, headaches with the 3D feature on. But simply, it can be turned off, making the 2DS slightly useless.
Oh, and there's going to be so much confusion at retail. Most parents think that there are 2DS games.

See I hate comments like this.

"I'd buy this game... but I dont want the console"

Then you don't want the game that much. Why in the hell would Nintendo release it for the 3DS? It makes zero sense.

Uhh... no, it was not. It was quite fun and challenging, for me at least. Actually, I consider it the most challenging 3D Mario ever made. The tropical setting might be a little repetitive, but it was a refreshing installment. It had very tight controls. The secret levels were my favorite. I don't get all the hate surrounding this game. The only think I hate about it are those annoying blue coins. It felt like a bit rushed (it was) but definetly is was NOT garbage.
