Ok, so not exactly related to Wiiflow, but then again it sort of is...as it's my usb loader of choice

Smash Bros Brawl...ive been told that ios249 rev19 can fix the whole black screen thing in the Subspace Emissary

I'm on modmii...and is the thing I want to download the
"Waninkoko (v19) cIOSs 2491938 = cIOS249 [38]-V19"
does the 38 mean I need to use IOS 38 as a base to install it?
Is the latest version v21? is there a difference because I'd prefer the highest up to date IOS 249

sorry again if I'm asking here when I should be asking somewhere else
Lol, yeah, this is more a question for the modmii topic...but to give you an answer:

Don't bother with that old cIOS, just install a d2x v8 cIOS on 249 with base 56 and a d2x v8 cIOS on250 with base 57 (there is a newer one (v10) but v8 is proven to be very stable). Almost any game wil work with 249, some need 250 (that is because of the base).

Base btw. has to do with the IOS, see it like this: the cIOS tells the game its IOS 56 and the game will run.

Alright, I'm gonna do that

Is there any reason at this moment however, that when I launch a game in Wiiflow, a white progress bar shows up for a split second and my Wii drive makes a noise and the game launches with a black screen? Cfg USB Loader works but I am not sure why Wiiflow doesnt

EDIT: (i think because I had my video mode forced to NTSC maybe? My wii is NTSC and my TV is NTSC and I of course...am NTSC but idk why i turned that on)

Although my SSBB still doesn't work on the whole Subspace emissary thing, thanks for the suggestion for the d2x v8 installations, as I have just done it. My SSBB still won't work but I am going to try and rip my friends copy or find someone to rip it from :)

okay , here's the FIXED devolution plugin for those who want the 1:1 button mapping with wiiflow
http://www.mediafire.com/download/iccevjb47h68pib/Devolution_Plugin_r200.zip
while fixing it I realized the timer fix and AX options might have been broken in the previous versions as well
but they should be fixed now

nonetheless, I would REALLY appreciate some testing reports
Noticed your last upload does not have |32 or |34 for devolution.ini and devo-wide.ini repectively, was that on purpose or should I place a |32 to activate the 1:1 button mapping feature? Well I'm going to try it anyway with |32 on the end now. Will post back results in a bit.

EDIT: I tried your latest r200 plugin with and w/o the |32 in the args line
Code:
arguments={device}|{path}/{name}|32
Didn't work yet, let me know if there's anything I can do to get it going ;)

O2em-Plugin2

Pal50 display should be fixed. It's just recompiled with another sdl library.

OpenBOR-Plugin1

You must have the folders from the standard openbor. Grab it here and copy the games in the Paks folder. SD card only.

No way to make it work from USB. It's using Libelm instead of libfat and even the regular app fails to see usb drives.
It's based on r3789 since almost all the latest revs have issues. Tested with Battletoad Double Dragon and Final rage Chaos.
I never tried it before and it's not so bad if you like beat'em all.

Source code

I already asked this but it never hurts to try again. Would it be possible to put back synopsis and/or banners back for plugins ?
That'd be cool to have a summary and some kinda manual. I have done some ugly scripts based on databases to sort games by categories.
I guess it could be done too to generate entries for emulator's games in wiitdb.xml.

It's not the only place where pressing a button on and off the screen does something different. A off the screen selects and starts a game. If you're in a full body cast and can't point off the screen, fortunately, you can also perform both those actions with the pointer on the screen by clicking the cover and then the play button. In this case, too, IIRC there's a nice back button on screen that you can use if you just can't convince that pointer to move off the screen with a simple flick of the wrist. :P

Source menu page and adjusting coverflow page are the only did not have the B button has affected back.

point inside or outside the screen is not the issue. View 30 pages in wiiflow, exit by clicking on B, in or out is okay. Simply display the source menu so that it does not work.
may be that the B button is badly affected in this page (selection of icons)

To finish, critical yet once my wrists and I me occupies of your teeth.

Sorry for bad english hahahaha

Your enthusiasm made me smile MassiveRican (not easy, it's really hot here!). I love you too, ha ha.
An sdhc is recommended if you have a lot of games. For usb support, as always, any help's welcome!

I already have OpenBor setup with a 16GB MicroSDHC w/Adapter so as soon as I get home it's just a matter of pointing the ini in the right direction and load this sucker up!

I always felt a bit odd about using "B" to select multiple icons in the source menu. Using the "+" button would seem more natural to me since we're combining source menu buttons, leaving "B" as a shortcut to exit the source menu. What do you guys think? I don't mind the way it is now, but since mamule brought the topic up, just felt like finding out what the consensus is on that.

spacepimp For your 2nd post, yes WF can change NAND paths now thank to file explorer but QF doesn't play well with xNeek2o so you'd have to use regular xSneek+DI with the NAND on the root of your USB/SD (depends if u use QF 4.0 or 4.1)

As for your 1st post I'm no expert on mem usage, AFAIK it would be taxing on mem1/2 use not sure which one. As u know WiiFlow is already limited on mem constraints so I think it would probably dump quicker if u were navigating around WiiFlow a lot with a 3D coverflow. Again this is just what I think; speculation on my part, but it might be one reason the devs don't want to go that route.

Hey Thanks or the tip re quadforce. I was also thinking this nand 'autoswitching' behavior could apply to wads that have to be loaded from real nand, I know Light trax is an example.
I see why you would think memory constraints would be an issue, replacing the current 2d menu with a 3d version of the calibre of coverflow is just not going to happen.
However!
What I'm suggesting is a plugin that functions exactly like the existing plugins, at least as far as wiiflow is concerned. It is a dol, that runs the specified file when it accepts a variable from wiiflow associated with the cover selected by the user - i.e., it's just a normal coverflow.
FYI The reason I've been given for the devs not wishing to follow this is that there is a metaphysical line between games and sources, and the two should not be represented in the same way (i.e. 3d covers in a coverflow). I am not kidding.
Please excuse the emphasis, I just wanted to make my point clear. Thanks for your engagement!
Chin Chin!

spacepimp I meant to say if you navigate around a lot on a 3D SourceFlow lol, my bad, I'm pretty sure you didn't misinterpret that. BTW popcorn mashup is the funk ;)

Maxternal I know you've been working on the Devo plugin but I was hoping when you get a chance if you could update your Source Menu Editor. Since Wiimy :P has been so hard at work adding all these plugins and fledge68 recently taught me that WiiFlow has support to change the entire source menu on the fly by changing the theme, I thought it would be awesome if your app could support having different source_menu.ini's in and it's icons in different theme folders. We could just browse to the theme that points to the source_menu.ini and icons at the beginning of your app similar to the way we already point to the WiiFlow folder. I hope it's possible since I know your tight on time, no rush just a request.

Let me know if this is something you're willing to do at your own accord of course, reason I ask is cuz I'll wait to make adjustments to my source menu's so I can test your app, otherwise I'll start updating my Source Menu since Wiimpathy has added like 5 plugins recently lol. (Well more than that, but that's how many I'm behind setting up :shy: Although I couldn't wait to setup OpenBOR :mthr: )

How can I hide games? More specifically my GameCube multi disc Resident Evils

I understand you have to put them in categories but I only have
Category 1
Category 2

All the way up to category 5. I saw another picture on this forum of like several categories, including a "hidden" one. Do I need a theme for that? I'm using Carbonik

Never mind...figured it out

Ok now everything is ok on Ubuntu. Just one problem, folders in the tree are not shown in alphabetical order, but this only happens when there are hidden folders (names starting with ".")
Schermata-select%20save%20data%20folder.png

Would it be possible to sort them properly?
Edit: maybe hidden folders are not the reason.
not sure

I tried looking into this. it looks like hidden folders are the reason. The folder finder I used is a jar from psafix called JFolderchooser. I'm not too experienced to be able to change their code so what I could do is change it back to the JFilechoosers(1.0-1.5) because I'm able to enable or disable hidden folders being shown. Or maybe this one is working so that its in correct alphabetical order, then hidden folders will be enabled. Is this okay?
