that actually makes sense -

categories on start
source on start
async network on boot

they could go in the startup/boot menu. I'll run it by Fix94 unless he already see's this

Yay, I actually make sense! :p If you wanna throw any other yes/no options in there, that'd be cool.

Oh, homebrew deletion... Can we get that too, maybe? :D

I usually just press the home btn on wiimote twice. but yes, that's how the home and exit menu work

Thanks.

Then what does the ''Exit to Wii Menu' setting do? I thought that controlled either the display of the menu (Default) or it auto-exited to the selected item.

that controls what u exit to when you press the home btn twice

Ok, thanks. Would be nice if there was an ini option to bypass that last pop up menu. Or a new option in the setting like <Quick Exit> that would not show that menu with the exit options after clicking Exit.

I'll make a google code enhancement request.

Ok I set up devo plugin along with the devo.ini you included (only difference is |32 for 4:3 TV.. I take it if I wanted Timer Fix, Widescreen; F-Zero GX to AX Patch & Button Mapping, arg would just be |58?). Unfortunately the direct button mapping didn't work with the game I tried which was 007-EON, I only use Devo for Audio Streaming games nothing else so I have a few more games I can test it on, but I spent all my time today re-verifying all my games and setting up the devo plugin. The plugin did return to WiiFlow with no problem. However I'm still trying to figure out how to keep DM(L)'s game name structure and make it compatible with the Devo Plugin and have covers show up.

In the post where you described the 7 alternate naming methods with dummy files, I think the last 2 or 3 just confused the shit outta me :wtf::wacko:. If you don't mind me explaining how I'd like things to work maybe you can help me set things up properly if possible?

EDIT: Tested my friends copy of Donkey Konga with direct button mapping ini as well and still no go.

okay, I think I figured out what's wrong with that option in both this and the sample loader mod I made. Thanks for testing. I'll have to see if I can find time tonight to fix and recompile tonight (hopefully)

Anyway, as far as having the games show up in the DM(L) folder configuration, use this
http://www.mediafire.com/download/or1fc1cs2c4umul/Devolution+-+dummy+files.zip
IIRC you just use the included INI files and then run the included java app on your games folder and it will do all the work for you (including cover copying) and then, yes, you just add a |58 on the end of the arguments= to get those specific desired options (and when I recompile the plugin for you it should pay attention to that last one correctly)

If you run the "Devo Prep" in the "Devo Plugin Prep" folder it'll do what you're looking for (create a dummy file in the same folder as every game.iso in your games folder ... with the right name for that game)

You can probably ignore the "Shared Plugin Prep" folder ... We'll just keep this simple.

If there's any GC games you don't want to show up in WiiFlow in the Devo plugin, just delete the .GC file from it's folder when you're done.

for folder explorer you have

EXPLORER/ENTRY_8 //the label that is the text "..."
EXPLORER/ENTRY_8_BTN //the transparent btn that you click on

move ENTRY_8 off screen by setting x=1000 ti hide the "..."
now change the image for ENTRY_8_BTN. don't forget to set its width and height.

do the same for ENTRY_0 also
then I need 1 user for each page (should be unique) since entry 0 and 8 have different positions and the user in one page should not show on the second page

nothing to do with the latest additions but the B button is not assigned to the source menu page. Only clic on back is possible.

Just realized realized my suggestion for ScummVM covers is stupid since they're already renamed properly when Mastershoes uploads them no real need to rename. Thanks for your recent efforts.

Alright. Your welcome. Its good to get feedback because without you guys telling me the glitches or giving me good suggestions, I probably wouldn't have any updates and most likely forget about the application.

hum i'm not speaking of that

B is button on every page to back, source menu page have not, and since source menu is born
So you're saying that when in Source menu, pressing B does not take you back to the coverflow, even if you point off screen?

The included readmii file with your devolution - dummy files.zip pack is much easier to understand for both regular and shared plugin prep usage, I really appreciate it.

I finally had some time to adjust the new additions, thanks to your tips I didn't need to use "user" stuff

Ok now everything is ok on Ubuntu. Just one problem, folders in the tree are not shown in alphabetical order, but this only happens when there are hidden folders (names starting with ".")
Schermata-select%20save%20data%20folder.png

Would it be possible to sort them properly?
Edit: maybe hidden folders are not the reason.
not sure

Ok, so not exactly related to Wiiflow, but then again it sort of is...as it's my usb loader of choice

Smash Bros Brawl...ive been told that ios249 rev19 can fix the whole black screen thing in the Subspace Emissary

I'm on modmii...and is the thing I want to download the
"Waninkoko (v19) cIOSs 2491938 = cIOS249 [38]-V19"
does the 38 mean I need to use IOS 38 as a base to install it?
Is the latest version v21? is there a difference because I'd prefer the highest up to date IOS 249

sorry again if I'm asking here when I should be asking somewhere else
