The only thing that I am interested in is KH4, and that's because I am in too deep
I got burned out after Birth by Sleep. (Played through 1, CoM, 2, and BbS.) I didn't play the 358/2 Days, but that one seemed interesting. I thought 3 was supposed to be the conclusion (Like Metal Gear Solid 4, yeah?), but sure enough, KH4 was announced in 2022.

Protip: If you play 1, CoM, and 2, you have a complete (enough) arc that you can walk away from. Going beyond that point is to enter... the minus world.

I think I've asked this before, but does KH3 cinch things up at all?

AI likes to go along with whatever your opinion is.

I think it annoys them, but I definitely don't think they're panicking over that. These decomplications and mods exist in a bubble, most Nintendo players just buy games.

I read this and all I can think is, What a bunch of whinging

- This direct was one of the greatest directs ever, Although First Party was definitely lacking
- Paid Upgrades are not a new thing, And Nintendo isnt even the first to do it
- No?
- Yeah no shit, Nobody is expecting games to run and look like they do on the PS5 Pro or PC at Maximum Graphics, Its a fuckin half an inch thick tablet
- While I'm not excited for an OoT Remake, Its still kinda a big deal

Kingdom Hearts 4 for Switch 2 is a Crazy Reveal
And most of the Third Party Ports are Crazy Gets as well
You said a lot of nothing, just so you can say someone is whining! lol (Next time spell it right)

The point is, we have people that will accept anything Nintendo releases, or says!
This direct was disrespectful period, and any Nintendo fan who can't see that is either using blind loyalty or literally Stevie Wonder blind, and can't see through the cloud of b.s. they keeping pulling.

The New Business Nintendo doesn't care about their fans, the old Nintendo is gone, but you eluded to where I stated that!

Regardless of the 3rd party announcements of old games, that is nothing to get excited about, when people have played those games over 3 to 6 years ago. Almost full generations before, and the new ones like Kingdom Hearts IV was announced years ago, it's 3rd party Square, of course they would have made it for Switch 2, especially with them slowly porting the rest of the series.

It's business and it's additional income.

And stop always saying the paid DLC crap everyone does it, non-sense!

Most DLC has actual value, Nintendo is making people pay for actual patches, just like they did Pokemon ZA where the files were already on the original disc and people paid $20 to $30 to unlock a 13kb file to unlock it - Again! Disrespectful

The b.s. upgrades they keep talking about with fps and 4K resolution, should not cost their fans anything.
Sony and Microsoft does these upgrades for free!
Sony charges for game upgrades, meaning if you have the original, you pay maximum of $10 for the Remakes or Remasters, which actually look like upgrades, with actual textures, graphics, gameplay fixed and additional levels. $10 freak'n dollars.

Not one so called upgrade for Nintendo has done anything of that! Again someone doesn't value their hard earned money to keep overlooking the obvious and paying the dipshit's to give you nothing, and giving you what should be a free patch, that is super disrespectful.

These directs continue to show us, Nintendo is out of touch and still living in the past on who their audience is anymore, and it shows on how they present stuff, and how they release content now.

They live in the past without the same team or people who made that past so great!

Who had passion about the games and content that was presented.

This was a mediocre business direct of crap, after crap, 100% of the people watching wanted to see the new Zelda and they gave us a 6 to 10 second glimpse of absolutely nothing!-

When will fans say enough is enough and stop pushing money in their bank accounts, so they can truly see the frustration and anger people should be feeling for them, instead of blind acceptance of any and everything?

I think a friend helped me, plus I had a guide book, so I don't have bad memories of it myself :)
but they did make it easier in the 3ds version, and this remake will have a reworked version too - I assume
(hopefully not too easy haha)
What was made easier exactly?

What was made easier exactly?
(not sure myself but) - https://zeldawiki.wiki/wiki/Water_Temple#Themes_and_Navigation last paragraph of that section, pasted:
Eiji Aonuma apologized for the design of the Water Temple in a 2009 interview.[8] Due to the confusing layout and controls for the Nintendo 64 version of Ocarina of Time, several changes were in Ocarina of Time 3D. The Iron Boots were changed into an item rather than a piece of equipment, the dungeon received glowing markings on various walls and corridors to mark where the player must go and to make changing the water level more clear,[9][10] and an additional camera scene was added in the central tower of the dungeon to make the location of a commonly and easily missed Small Key more obvious.

"You said a lot of nothing"... hm...

People don't accept "anything Nintendo releases". Everyone has preferences. It's just that mature people tend to skip it and move on if something isn't for them. There will always be more later.
No need to complain because that one direct didn't have the game you wanted.

From my perspective, as a Fire Emblem, Xenoblade and Zelda fan, I got what I wanted. Next year, if they release Pikmin, Animal Crossing or another Mario Bros. I'll take a step back, cause I'm not a big fan of those. No big deal. There's years long backlogs of games anyway.

The criticism over 3rd party support is complete non sense in general. You call yourself the "biggest Nintendo fan" but this complain alone makes it very hard to believe.
Why is that bad that Nintendo is finally getting massive support from 3rd party developers. Why is that bad that KH4, FF7 Revelations, RE9, Wilds etc. are all releasing on Switch? And why is it bad that older games are also ported? It doesn't hurt the platform, doesn't hurt 1st party games in development, and unlike the competition, Nintendo doesn't just rely on that.

The switch 2 released last year, and already we have Mario Kart World, Bananza, Kirby Air Riders, Hyrule Warriors, Mario Tennis, Pokopia, Fire Emblem, Xenoblade Genesis, Ocarina of Time, Yoshi, Splatoon Raiders, The Duskbloods, Orbitals before it reaches its second anniversary.
You want to compare that to exclusives on PS5 or Xbox, even though they're older systems?

This direct wasn't perfect sure, it had pacing issues, it had awkward reveals that held too much information, and I agree that their pricing strategy is a hard pill to swallow (although Sony upgrades aren't free, and Xbox doesn't have any lesson to give regarding cost of services). There's a lot of it that we can otherwise agree on.
But when you call all of it crap, despite all the great announcements, it's not Nintendo disrespecting the fans, it's you disrespecting the fans. Many people got games they wanted to see and are excited for it.

This remake > SoH no questions asked, even with mods and textures. The fan made game is never going to see completion.
yep from the leaked SS i have seen so far they took the same fucking game from the n64 and added a HQ texture pack and some anti aliasing which emulation has been doing that for fucking years they are doing this half assed remaster to stop fan projects and PC ports! and when it's released they expect to get paid $90 for a key card how petty have these MOFO become! 100% they are doing mario 64 next :rofl2:

I'm only going to reply to these three parts - everything else you said was irrelevant.

1. Biggest fan, own every exclusive they've ever made on Gamecube thru Switch 1 - Own every game ever released on NES, SNES, GB, GBA, GBC, DS, 3DS, N64, and Wii. (So yes biggest fan)

Switch 2 will be the first system released by them I will never own....(so let's move on)

2. MKW, DK Bananza, Kirby Air Riders, Hyrule Warriors, Mario Tennis, and Pokopia - lol

Only game you posted that I'd like is released right now is Pokopia, that game is great, I've watched a lot of streams on it.
All the others, my best friend owns and minus Hyrule Warriors and Mario Tennis - which are not that impressive.
MKW is the most hated and discussed game in forums and YT on how lack luster it is, even from major Nintendo Channels and streamers. DK is an after thought, none of the games you listed is a system seller, even Metroid which you didn't mention flopped and didn't even reach a million sold. And was criticized non-stop.

3rd part, it's my opinion as I have a right to have one, the direct was garbage, as the last few have been, as someone who's been playing their games since the 80's, since NES, I can honestly see the downfall, or decline in quality of this company, I also see the change on how they disrespect their fans, vs how they appreciated them in the past.

- And for clarity and honest and truthful references, since you obviously have a dishonest and biased attitude towards Microsoft and Playstation.

You flat out lied, and visual upgrades, frames per second upgrades, graphics boost and resolution upgrades from PS4 games playing on a PS5 were 100% free, same with Xbox from Xbox One to Xbox Series X, the upscaling and enhancements were all 100% free.

As someone who owns every platforms since the 80s and actually still own them, even my Atari's, Neo Geo's Turbografx, Saturn, OG Xbox up, PS1 Up, Dreamcast, Master Systems etc.

I've always enjoyed all platforms equally, because I like games, and when any of heir companies messes up or is anti-consumer I will call them out on there b.s.

No matter how much of a fan I am of their games.

I just want a more interconnected Hyrule, without minimaps. I want it to feel like an open world, even if we can't climb like in Breath of the Wild.

For others it seems, but most of the time, AI just straight up lies to contradict me and then I have to treat it similiar internet trolling with a large batch of denial. Same as this prompt prior to me sassing it with irrefutable counterevidence until it caved in (hence the "operator" line).

"The AI ain't agreein' with me here:"

example.jpg

"meaning TKD practitioners do not train to throw or defend against head punches." - "pfft, lol no. maybe fake-kwon-do."

I wouldn't put it past Nintendo in the same way as 3DS Metroid releasing right after they shut down the official AM2R page. Nintendo has a track record of throwing fits with their games being shown working on steam decks. "ThePhawx (March 2022), anyone?"

But whatever I'll take your word for it that you own the games and not just have the dumps, just like many of us here likely do lol

It's fascinating how you called me dishonest and biased, saying I flat out lied and all game upgrades were 100% free then immediately added a caveat to that.
Horizon, Last of Us, Spiderman, Uncharted all have paid upgrades. That's not counting third party. I bought & played some of them, these are not remakes. Zero Dawn is the closest thing to it and still not a remake. It's at the level of the BotW/TotK upgrades.

And no, they're not more impressive than what Nintendo has been putting out.
And yes, their boost mode was free, so was Nintendo's.
And yes, some of their upgrades were free, so were some of Nintendo's.
The only reason Nintendo has more upgrade packs... is because they put out a lot more games lol.

What you perceive as better value for the buck is irrelevant. You're the biased one here.

I mentioned Xbox not because of upgrades but because they lured people with this promise of a subscription to play everything, then when they had lots of people hooked up they started ranking up prices like crazy. People end up owning nothing, and paying a significant subscription.

None of these companies were ever your friend. Maybe you just didn't see it as much as a kid. They all want to make money. and Nintendo is neither better or worse than the other two. They've all pushed their advantage at one point or another of their history. It's a business.

Now about this "biggest fan" thing... As someone who also owns all Nintendo platforms (I got the NES/SNES a little bit later, but still) and whose basement is filled with Nintendo memorabilia and shelves with first4figure, amiibos, plushies etc, and CIBs from games from the NES up to the Switch 2, I say, good for you!
But that's not an argument, and that doesn't make you unbiased.

Maybe the superfan that you are, who owned every Wii games (lol sure) will explain why Xenoblade Chronicles found grace in your eyes, but Genesis wouldn't. Maybe you can explain why Fire Emblem 7, Path of Radiance, Radiant Down etc were all great games (since you know, you own all these games!) but somehow Fortune Weave's isn't. Same with Kirby.
Maybe you can explain why Bananza, which was super well received and sold systems, is somehow an after thought.

Or maybe, more likely, you grew up, your tastes have changed, and it's just not for you anymore. And it's okay to realize that and move on.

EDIT: (Just read the last bit, you say you have a youtube channel, yet won't show your collection? Hm...)

That's crazy, you really have every game?
Well, of course one can claim they have every game from those systems when they pirate literally every game they "own". Also, a lot of that "proof" they gave you looks like they just pulled a bunch of images off of random parts of the internet and slapped their AI-generated watermark on it in a half-assed attempt to claim they "own" those games (didn't even have to look far - the first image confirms it). Best not to take anything they say seriously and treat them as yet another YouTube grifter.
EDIT: (Just read the last bit, you say you have a youtube channel, yet won't show your collection? Hm...)
As I noted, they're a pirate, so of course they won't share their collection. Hell, the claim they have "every game on [insert Nintendo system here]" is a dead giveaway of their piracy. That, or the typical YouTube grifter lie to justify whatever garbage is coming out of their ass.

Edit: Oh, and their "it's too personal" excuse to not give actual proof of their "collection" is a huge lol. If they were truly the Nintendo fan they claimed they were, one would think they'd be all too willing to flaunt the proof of their superiority. The fact they won't shows their claim twas but a lie.

Again you like to argue and try to word things to where you want them to make sense...

Let me be more clear - Horizon Zero Dawn PS4 version running on PS5, the resolution boost and frames per second boost on PS5 were 100% free updates.

The Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered was a PS5 only game, and it was massively upgraded and a new version all together!
With PS5 upgraded graphics, frames, modes, etc.

People who own Horizon Zero Dawn PS4, got to upgrade to the Remastered PS5 only game for $10.

Get it right and stop trying to reword things, and that goes for the same with Last of Us Part 1, etc.

And the Uncharted Collection was a Remaster and it was also $10...so stop it...

You just like to argue, when you know you're wrong, lets move on!

And don't @ me about Xenoblade, that is not a Switch 2 seller either!
I see zero value in anything the Switch Pro aka the Switch 2 has to offer.

Again I won't support this company going forward, until they build real hardware and decide to compete again!

If you want 80 and 90 dollars for downgraded games and old as ports, that's you!

You like Nintendo, You Like Switch 2, good for you! Enjoy it!
