Time to welcome back the Twinkie: Hostess is bringing back its popular snack cakes on July 15 after going bankrupt last year and selling its brands to various bidders.

There you go folks. Now mods who recently love to move my threads, this one is actually worthy of USN, as it effects everyone that likes Hostess foods..... which is everyone is existance pretty much.

I just don't believe that. If Rydian, KingVamp, Gahars, or any other common USN poster posted either of those two stories, they'd remain in USN.

It started as a joke my saying they're doing it, but I seriously DO think they are doing that now. Not one of my USN threads stayed in USN (despite all but one should have) in over 2 months IIRC. I have no clue why though, or exactly which one it is doing it.

I saw a store selling American food in my city centre. Twinkies were being sold at stupid prices last time I checked. Is there any American snacks that I should keep an eye out for? The ones I tried was:

Lucky Charms (Cheerios with hard marshmallows in my opinion)
Baconaise (HORRIBLE)
Reese's Cups (love them)
Marshmallow Fluff (combined with Nutella, it's good but not enough to get another)
Pepsi Throwback (either my tongue is on the fritz but I cannot taste the difference between that and current Pepsi)
Tootsie Roll (Not bad. Really chewy)

My thought process at the time, "HEY, I LIKE BACON. I ALSO LIKE MAYONAISE. WHAT CAN GO WRONG?". The real problem is that they made it far too salty for my taste and after using it twice on two sandwiches, it's been sitting in the fridge for over a month now. Oh God I can even see it starting to change colour through the jar.

Oh Doritos are plentiful. I always get the Cool flavor everytime. I should also mention I'm also loving double stuff Oreos.

I don't know, I just don't think Hostess' products can compete in the modern marketplace. I mean, why would anyone go all the way to the supermarket when they can easily find a plethora of twinks, ho-hos, ding dongs, and "cupcakes" on any street corner?
