Call of Duty: Ghost. Wii U version, new engine and more.

Tesco first leaked the PS3/Xbox360 BoxArts and now this is the description they added to it:​

Published by Activision and developed by Infinity Ward, the studio that created the original Call of Duty and the seminal Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® series, Call of Duty: Ghosts ushers in the next generation of the franchise, delivering a riveting all-new gameplay experience built on an entirely new story, setting and cast, all powered by a new next-generation Call of Duty engine."

May 1st is the is the rumored date for the actual reveal so more will probably happen then (yet another thing that skipped E3).

XtraLife has listed Call of Duty: Ghost for Wii U console. There were rumors that the game was gonna skip the Wii U. This games hasn't been confirmed yet. Acording to Gamestop Activision will reveal the next Cod game on May 1st.[/CENTER]

Indeed. Call of Duty titles came out for the Wii (by some miraculous stroke of programming luck, no doubt) - one naturally expects them to come out to the beefiest system out there at the moment. I mean, they already have the engine ported, so why the hell not.

Oh boy, I can't wait for the watered down 3DS and Vita versions of the game.

A little bit optimistic, aren't we? The PSVita got BLOPS: Declassified when BLOPS2 was released, and that left people with mixed-to-negative feelings. The 3DS got nothing COD-Related so far... so I wouldn't be so sure about those watered-down versions you're talking about.

That's based on N-Space, an entirely different engine - the DS game was built from the ground up, the Wii one runs on the IW engine.

I played the Wii version of MW3. Thats the version I played. Only the campaing I never play CoD for Online. And I played it cuz got it free.

Stating that it's being made by Infinity Ward means nothing anymore. They're not nearly the game developing company that they used to be, with many key figures departing at least a couple of years ago now.
