Xbox and Nintendo enter 10-year deal to bring Call of Duty games back to Nintendo systems

The Microsoft-Activision merger hasn't happened quite yet, but Microsoft is making plans presuming that the deal will go through eventually. CEO Phil Spencer has announced that Microsoft and Nintendo have entered into a 10-year-long deal, which will see the Call of Duty franchise brought to Nintendo's platform. This would mark the first time the series has returned to Nintendo systems since 2013's Call of Duty: Ghosts, which was released for the Nintendo Wii U.

Microsoft has offered the same deal to PlayStation as well, who at the time of writing has not accepted, all while antitrust and government regulators continue to go back and forth over whether or not the finalized acquisition of Activision would be fair to the market. Previously, Microsoft has been incredibly vocal about not making Call of Duty into an Xbox exclusive franchise. Spencer also revealed that Call of Duty games will continue to release simultaneously on Steam for PC players, assuming that the deal goes through.

wonder what the numbers look like on that deal. why would PS refuse the deal, and why would xbox by the company if xbox isn't offering a big fuck you contract so they can hot potato the issue onto sony.

Nintendo accepting the deal is easy. convo probably went,

Illinois is working to ban toxic food additives that have been banned for decades in other countries; additives that can be replaced and all those countries still have Skittles and Mountain Dew. Title of the piece: GUBMINT WANTS TO TAKE AWAY YOUR CANDY

@Veho, Sounds and smells like bullshit. They don't give you cancer, and California should know that. I don't get why they stick labels that say "may or may not cause reproductive harm or cancer".
