open your wiiflow.ini file. It's in the /apps/wiiflow folder. A lot of the settings under the [GENERAL] section tell where the WiiFlow should look for everything. Look through there for the two that look like they're talking about covers (there's one for front covers and one for full covers.) and change the first part where it says sd: to say usb1: and save and close the file. You'll then just need to move the /wiiflow/covers and /wiiflow/boxcovers folders over to your USB drive.

I don't have a wiiflow.ini file in the apps/wiiflow folder:unsure: Here's a snapshot of what my wiiflow folder has:

upgraded to wiiflow 4.1.1 today and now my wii will not launch games, the screen goes black for 2 mins then back to the system menu... any ideas?
If you have not already make sure to reload your cache. Depending on which version you updated from u might want to delete your cache lists folder as well. Also make sure your using the latest Wiiflow v14b forwarder.

Hey bud I noticed your folder name is WiiFlow_249, that's a problem. WiiFlow creates the WiiFlow.ini file on launch under apps/wiiflow. Either rename your folder or check to make sure that WiiFlow didn't already create that folder on your USB/SD in dev://apps/. U can move all your files there.

i removed all wiiflow info from my sd card, re-downloaded the wiiflow and copied it over to apps, and also reinstalled the wiiflow channel installer 1.1 (latest jan3)... same result

I also have this issue. Wii game loading, dios mios game loading and real/emu nand channel loading give a black screen, and then reboot. Plugins work fine and so do homebrew. I tried enabling sd log, but then wiiflow began working strangely, didn't recognize any partition and it seemed it wasn't loading config files from hdd or sd (?). I reverted to 886 and everything worked again.

There's actually a thread for that. They'd probably love the help if you wanted to post it over there.

Is it possible to use 2 plugins of ScummVM, one for Dos and one for C64 games? (well.. actually... one)
In my source menu I like to have entries based systems not emulators, so I'm using ScummVM and Dosbox together in the same cover flow, because they are all PC Dos games after all.
The problem is one damn intruder: Zak McKracken for C64! Can I move it to my C64 coverfow with Frodo, like I've done it with other plugins?
Here is what I tried to do:
I created a copy of the Scumm Plugin + .ini files, all renamed to Scummvm_c64.
Then I edited the new .ini files modifing the .dol filename and changing the magic number from:
5343564D
to:
5343574D
and added it in the source_menu.ini, next to Frodo's number separated by comma.
I modified the game entries of both plugins removing the Zak part from scummvm.ini and adding it to the scummvm_c64.ini
With this set up Wiiflow refuses to even show the source menu, it only shows wii games.
So for now I've set everything back like before and gave up on this thing.
I was wondering if any of you could tell me if it's possible to do it and why it didn't work.

you need to make new plugin ini files too with the new magic numbers not just edit the source menu,
That's what I did, for c64 I have:
Scummvm-mod5_c64.dol
scummvm_c64_plugin.ini
scummvm_c64.ini
all edited with the correct filenames, folders and the new magic number.
I don't know why but only ScummVM gave me this problem, I've already done this thing for arcade games and it works fine.
Maybe it is that Scummvm, unlike other emulators, relies on scummvm.ini for the game list. Maybe it doesn't accept another scummvm_c64.ini. And the strange thing is that it disables the entire source menu.

I updated from 4.0.1 to 4.1.1 and I am getting always a code dump.
After a reload wiiflow is working fine. I will post the debug logs. But at the moment it seems 4.1.1 is (at least for me) very instable.

Actually, I think WiiFlow is programmed to ONLY use the file scummvm.ini for ANY plugin. It chooses whether it should look for files in a folder like normal or look for entries in a file list based on the exact name so you wouldn't be able to change the name or it would just look for a folder with that name instead. You might be able to make them use the same file for both but just hide the ones in each that you want to open with the other ... maybe.

I don't have access to the wii atm, how do I hide files in wiiflow? This could be the best workaround
You make a category called "hidden" (for example) and add everything to it you want to hide. You then click on it until you see it marked with an X, which will hide it.

I updated the devolution plugin for WiiFlow to r196
http://www.mediafire.com/?ajxxa19kbrhu114
The new options can be set the same way the old ones were with r188
You just sum the numbers for all the options you want turned on and add it as a last argument (like it is in the widescreen INI that's included)
1 - WiFi log
2 - widescreen
4 - no activity light
8 - F-Zero GX to AX patch
16 - timer fix extra for fast games

EDIT : fixed and updated version
http://www.mediafire.com/download/n3ndj5em0de0953/Devolution_Plugin_r200.zip
has an added option
32 - direct button mapping.
