Hacking Help please, may have bricked wii

So the problem started like this. I played the wii fine the day before, I turn it on today and it boots fine, but my wii remote will not synch. I turn the wii off and then back on and it just stays on a black screen. I start the wii into the bootmii and try to run hbc, but I get an error something about the title. I check titles in bootmii, and the hbc starts up. using mmm i reinstall the system menu and then i try to update the prilloader and it kicks me out to a black screen. Now when i try to start it up in bootmii i just get a black screen. Any suggestions? I have nand back up and keys

Good thing you have the keys,and bootmii2.

reinstalled the original system menu,you just bricked the theme,not to worry,did you delete it during reinstalling?

not sure, I mean i didn't manually choose to delete anything. Also, I don't have one of the wii's that let you install the boot2.

Yeah i can understand the confusion. sorry, i don't know anything about this stuff, but rather followed directions. so I have bootmii, but it was installed on a wii that was on version 4.3u. In instructions, there was a mention of a lucky option for some wii that make it unbrickable, but i did not have that option.

"This runs the Hackmii Installer. Use the installer to install the Homebrew Channel (HBC) and Bootmii as IOS and Bootmii as Boot2 (if possible)."

Alright, do this. Take your SD card out and turn on your Wii. Does the disc drive flashes twice?

I had a game cube controller, so I just tested whether that "savemiifrii" was an option, and the version and region do show up in the bottom right corner like it was supposed to

so....after trying many times to get the bootmii to work (power and reset button at the same time). I unplugged the wii and plugged it back in, now it works....
