Hi,

i'm trying to play FZERO GX through dios mios lite, i have installed everything as i should and have a original Wii game inserted, but when starting a game, either through Neogamma, usb loader gx or cfg usb loader i only get a startupscreen of 'gc launcher 0.3' and it stays there.

What have i done wrong? I have a black Pal Wii 4.3E using a 2GB SD Card from Kingston.

your sd card is incompatible with the new dml try to find the older r58 version and it will work

'Evening sirs,

I was wondering whether DML could possibly work with the wiimote?
Why am I asking this question? Well, here's the deal:
I have a new Wii, the ones without GC support and all that, so no way to use a gamecube controller. I do however own two classic controllers, both wireless.
Now I've installed DML, ripped my games (I think with GCit?) and booted them through DML_loader in HBC. Luigi's mansion and Mario Kart Double Dash both work, the only problem is that I can not get any controller working because I don't have a way to plug them in.
Before anyone starts cursing me out for not reading the google code thing that says it won't work on a new Wii, I know, I just wanted to try and see whether GC support was completely broken or just partially.

TL;DR: Any way to get DML to work with wiimote/classic controller support?

Most likely not, sorry to say, the problem is in gamecube mode we dont have access to the devices needed, and we dont have a way to wrap the controls to gamecube ones.

That's too bad in that case, hoped getting GC support to work was the hardest thing to do :)
Thanks anyway.

Well the bad news for you is that it's unlikely to happen, they added support for NMM to allow playing without a memory card but the Wii remote support is unlikely.

On the bright side this may interest you http://gbatemp.net/topic/322683-devolution-speculation-thread/

I can't get Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door to work. After the GCLoader boot screen, it just goes into a black screen.

Details:
- This is the NTSC version
- I've tried both, GCReEx and DiscEx formats
- Every other GCN game I've tried loads fine (at least ten of them)
- I have an original Wii disc in the drive
- I have memory cards plugged in
- I'm not messing around with video mode shenanigans (set to default)

Does this game load fine for everyone?

assuming that you have dml 1.4b installed and component video cable and you are loading through loader gx then you can try setting video to ntsc480i and enable force gc interlace, loader gx does some strange shit with the video modes at least in dml.
you also can try loading through cfg loader, the default settings always works

I do have 1.4b and component, and use GX.
Do you mean setting the Wii to 480i and then setting that game to force interlace?
All other games work fine, why would this one require 480i?

Yes i have using rev 1.4 but it stays there, other people recommend me getting a class 10 SDHC card.
Borrow a friend's SD card, just to check for compatibility, but Class 10 has nothing to do with you problems. Some cards are known to have issues, regardless of speed rating.

because some games dont like being forced to 480p(specialy if have 480p selector) and anyways is the ntsc version so you can enable 480p by the normal means.
and because i noticed a weird behavior with the dml video modes in loader gx or loader gx just hate me.

Well, I don't force GCN games to 480p. They always come up with their own version of the screen where you select the video ouput. I have all that stuff set to defaults on USB Loader GX.
