Gaming Cave Story 3D Item-Quit Glitch

i even managed to get the beast fang by abusing this glitch! Also infinite life capsules. it pretty cool.

I find wierd that the Beast fang even exists in this version. The original required that you have Cave Editor to edit the yamashita farm map.

if you pause and quit while in the invintory, and then load a saved game, it temporarly screws up the object flags in the area you load into.

An example of how to abuse this is to go into the the first part of hell, item-quit, reload your save, ant repeatedly examine the broken bed. The game thinks its a life capsule, and since its a bed, it dosent dissappear.

Unlimited life capsule would be great for me, as I find the boss quite hard (3-bosses in a row in the throne room, without possibility to quit/save/regen)

not yet, I'll do it and report (but I have only the Wiiware and CaveStory+ version on PC).

Well, I don't know how to quit the game while in the inventory. (unless I hit Home button and exit the game completely, but then nothing will be saved to remember that glitch)

i finally got this game, and have yet to test this, got to head back to gamestop because they gave me a used copy for full price (40$)

It has double the max life of the original Cave Story

Which I am furious about. Normal mode is easy mode.

And the inventory is one item too small for you to get all the items + prinny hat.

not at all, this is the thread i wanted to grave dig.

because i have seen nothing about this glitch anywhere else, not even on youtube .

but the OP was onto something, i have yet to get to the room to get "unlimited health" or any item at all.

Edit: FUCKING LIES.

with that glitch you cant get any items, at most it will teleport you to another room IF there is a teleporter in the same room.

GOD DAMN LIES.
