Hacking Uneek+DI No signal?!

Hi all,

Just used Sneek/Uneek installer and made the files for Uneek+DI.

It seems that the Wii reads the files on the SD to boot to Uneek+DI, but refuses to read the NAND dump on the USB drive.

I get an "No input signal".

I can't check what error or so the drive light spits out because... well... I don't have the drive light on the Wii.

The problem is that the indicator led on my HDD isn't blinking. At all!

that's normal. it my case it turns to blue-screen on my TV and indicates please check signal at left-bottom corner of the screen.

If your Wii is blinking or something, then somethings wrong on your UNEEK+DI setup.

That's the problem. I can't check that because I don't have the disc-slot light anymore.

I had this problem earlier. If nothing happens for 20+ minutes, try a test load with a USB flash drive. It's possible that your HDD simply can't handle Uneek (I think you need a sufficiently quick HDD for it to work).

well, Maybe check the activity led on your USB HDD, if there's a activity happens on your USB HDD then all you have to do is to wait, if there's not HDD activity for more than 10mimutes, then there's somethings wrong.

But in my case, I did manage to boot UNEEK+DI in less than 1minute and the Wiimote Sync screen popsup.

USB Flash Drive led also dies out after 10 secs, nothing appeard untill now. Is there maybe a good guide you can point me to so that I can start over?

It might not be a bad idea to delete the sneek, bootmii, and nand folders off your SD card and USB Flash Drive and use ModMii to build UNEEK + DI with neek2o as well as a fresh NAND - it helps to remove user error from the process (you'll need to install a channel with MMM to switch to the emuNAND, but it's not a big deal). If ModMii's setup won't work with a properly formatted USB stick (don't forget you need to format to FAT32, sector size 32 KB or less), I have no idea what's wrong.
