Hacking My R4i 3DS won't read super mario 3D land.

Okay, my dad got me an R4i 3DS for christmas, and I immediately started looking for a Super Mario 3D land rom. I found one, and put it on my 3DS. However, it won't even show up on the list of available games. It IS a .3ds file, so I would think that a 3DS flashcart would be able to read that. If the game just didn't load that would be one thing... I tried changing the file extension to .nds, and it showed up on the list, but wouldn't load. I have downloaded what I think is the latest firmware.

1) There Are NO Real 3DS flashcarts. THey work on 3DS but cant run 3DS roms.
2) No 3DS Roms are supported!
3) 3DS hasnt been hacked!

I don't get it... seriously, I've had this R4i 3DS for one day. I saw a post somewhere that said nothing ran in 3DS mode yet, but that was in JUNE! I figured something would have changed by then. has it not?

Then you must not have been looking around enough, as such a topic is continually discussed, but has also continually been reported that it is not possible yet.
