Indeed. It's only the few N64 games that give me problems.
Thanks for the answer; as was curious as to why that happened.

Try using cIOS249[56]-d2x-v7-final with the latest Configurable USB Loader.hello, is there anyone who has the latest games running ?
my 4.2E wii plays almost every game except the latest like Cabelas Big Game Hunter 2012,Rayman Origins or Kirby's Return to Dreamland (2011).
I had cIOS249[56]-v21 running all the games with Usb loadergx but that on does not works with the above titles.
I tried the cIOS249[56]-d2x-v7-final and also IOS248[56]d2xv7 and IOS247[57]d2xv7 and tried to start it with all three ioses for those games but that also doesn't work.
Does anyone has the newer titles running and if so, with which ios ? almost every title works with ios249 with a few exceptions but these new titles are not working with several ioses.
thanks in advance.
If you were using cios rev 20 or rev21 by waninkoko then it's normal with certain hdd.Hm, I was playing Wii Music with IOS249 and noticed controller lag (with the Wii hand cursor) after a certain period of time.
I restarted it and changed the IOS to 222-mload and it worked perfect, but only played for 10 minutes.
Is there any issues regarding this?
Whatever loader you use, at least install 249 with d2x v7 base 56 and 250 with d2x v7 base57.hello, is there anyone who has the latest games running ?

See Highlighted..i hope Miigotu can explain this better if he can be online again, it was his idea to incorporate this, to make Wiiflow more beginners friendly, Just install d2x v7 with every base supported and you are good to go..@Etheboss
How does wiiflow's auto IOS function work exactly?
I mean, if a game runs natively under ios 38 does wiiflow select a d2x with base 38, if installed?
Yes that is my understanding, though i don't know the technical side.
In this case d2x with base 56 would be better because it enables sdhc support.
For example Rock Band 2 launched under base 38 can't open sdhc cards, while it can if launched under base 56.
Shortly, base 56 is always preferable for all those games originally running under an ios 56 the most suitable base is the one corresponding to the ios, i.e base 57 for ios 57 and base 58 for base 58.
Miigotu said games run better under the same base as the IOS it runs under, again i do not know the technical side of it.
That's generally true.Miigotu said games run better under the same base as the IOS it runs under, again i do not know the technical side of it.
This isn't true. For example Rock Band 2 launched under base 38 can't open sdhc cards, while it can if launched under base 56.
I don't know what IOS RB2 uses by default, when launched normally through the disc channel but, in my case, if I don't launch it through RawkSD, it gives me a message that SD is "disabled" because it cannot read from my 4GB SDHC card. This isn't true. For example Rock Band 2 launched under base 38 can't open sdhc cards, while it can if launched under base 56.
Well, tueidj, this is what users reported repeatedly.I don't know what IOS RB2 uses by default, when launched normally through the disc channel but, in my case, if I don't launch it through RawkSD, it gives me a message that SD is "disabled" because it cannot read from my 4GB SDHC card. This isn't true. For example Rock Band 2 launched under base 38 can't open sdhc cards, while it can if launched under base 56.
Don't know, maybe in christmas holidays.is the first post gonna be updated to cios d2x 7?
Both of those links discuss RB3 (not RB2) which supports SDHC by default.Well, tueidj, this is what users reported repeatedly.
The first 2 links I found just googling quickly seem to confirm this:

Paper Mario does not work for me either. Does it for you? Now, if this just can get past the nand emu issue for VC, this will be the ultimate all purpose cIOS.
Just for more accurate info, the VCs that won't run normaly on nand emu are:
N64 newer VC emulator released in february 2008 (It gets a black screen after the spinning "N" loading screen)
- Kirby 64, Cruisin USA, Pokemon Puzzle League, Mario Golf, Zelda Majora's Mask, Super Smash Bros, Ogre Battle 64, Mario Tennis, Mario Party 2, Bomberman Hero
Neo Geo newer VC emulator released in december 2008 (Might get black screen after screen with white "Now Loading" text. It can work sometimes if you are lucky, it's very random)
- Metal Slug 2, Fatal Fury Special, Ironclad, KoF 95/96/97, Samurai Shodown 3, Fatal Fury 3, Street Slam, Spinmaster, Magical Drop 2/3, Fighter's History Dynamite.
Rev17 is still needed for these ones.
