Hello guys,

I am wondering if there are still shops selling a flashcart for GBA which can play GB, GBC and GBA games.

Thank you

Any flashcard you get is going to let you use Goomba Color to emulate the GB and GBA (the emulation is nearly perfect.) Because it's emulated, they'll play on the Micro and DS too.
The easiest flashcard to find, by far, is the EZ-Flash IV.

The only way to do it with hardware alone is to use an original Flash2Advance cartridge with a GB Bridge. It would be very difficult to find either one of those nowadays. Instead, do what libertyernie suggested and get an EZ-IV and use Goomba Color to emulate your GB and GBC games.

Thanks for the replies, I bought an EZ Flash IV along with a GBA SP and Micro, Goomba Color works just fine. It's really sad though that the EZ Flash IV doesn't have an RTC battery. (for Pokemon)

I'm pretty sure there was a patch online that made the Pokemon games "Think" there's an RTC while in-fact time passed only when you were actively playing the game... or was it only for the DS? I really can't remember...

And you are right. There are patches online. They are something like Pokemon Red (enable real time clock hack).gba IIRC.

Yes, I also know that there is a modified goomba.gba which advances the internal RTC every 60 frames (1 second) and passes over the actual time from the flash cart every time the game is being loaded into the memory. Since the EZ4 doesn't have an RTC, the time would only advance while ingame - which is not that helpful.

However, correct me if I'm wrong. :)

@Luigi I have the EZ Flash IV
