I thought instead of people making all different threads to ask how to do puzzles in the game we could all just post in the one thread and people with the answer can reply =) also, be careful of spoilers there might be some in here =P

Q.Well I beat the first level and came back to skyloft and this crazy girl wants me to find her daughter kukieleli. It's just a sidequest but I can't find her.
Q.Anyone know how to start the Lost Sister mini quest to get the third empty bottle?
Q.Where do I find Batreaux or whatever for that missing girl (Kukiel I think?). Then, where do I return here to?
Q. Who do I give the Hot Pumpkin Soup after breaking the chandelier in the Lumpy Pumpkin?
A. You need to go to Link's bedroom and sleep until night. Once it's night go to the graveyard and hit the tombstone closest to the tree then push it. The shed will open and you can go in there to find her. Answer provided by syko5150

A. I assume you already talked to the guy in the plaza that wants you to find his sister? OK, well fly to the southwest of town to see a small little island with the girl and her bird on it. Answer provided by syko5150

First sleep in Link's bed at the academy until night. Then go to the cemetery in the bottom right corner of the map. Hit the tombstone closest to the tree and then push it to open up the shed. Go down the ladder and find Batreaux and the girl, she'll say she's staying there until morning so sleep until morning. then go to this house http://i.imgur.com/NGe1C.jpg located here on the map http://i.imgur.com/KdJZT.jpg and talk to her mom. Q. Someone please explain to me how to properly walk across the tightropes... I've tried twisting the wiimote left and right and physically waving it left and right and I can't seem to figure out what the hell it wants me to do. I can get across usually but damn, it's a long stupid process usually.
Q.I cant find an option to turn the Wiimote HUD off... anyone know where i have to go to turn this off? i have checked the screen you get when you hit 1 and there is the option to calibrate the motion plus but i cant see where to turn the HUD off.... am i just being blind?
Q. Can you "z-target" and shoot an enemy with the bow, or do you have to aim like in the demo?

Hold your Wiimote upwards (like when you are charging your sword) and tilt it left/right. Its quite difficult in the beginning but once you get the hang of it its rather easy. Answer provided by Lucif3r

You're not far enough along yet. Eventually, the area you're talking about in the screen options will give ya the option to go into Pro mode which removes everything but hearts and money. Answer provided by Kadin

Im stuck in skyview temple when i hit the switch and the water rises, but now i can t find the switch for the left door in the big room. Has a clue similar to 'hit the switches, one above, one below'

A. The switch for the left door is on the bottom left right under the door in a little passage. I did the left door first before raising the water, so you might have to try to find a place to stand where you're not in the water. Answer provided by syko5150

In the big room to the left (the square room, not the lower circular one), look for a log in the water that you can jump onto and then to an ivy wall from there. That will get you on the right path... Answer provided by Kadin

A.If you stand in front of the heart piece and then send the beetle up to the top of the tower you will find a switch which will open the grate blocking you from it =) Answer provided by Andrew_DS
Eldin Volcano/Volcano Summit/Earth Temple:

I'm stuck at the very beginning of Eldin Volcano, just after the first few bomb flowers, theres enemies with shells, killed them, next to them is a skull bridge that drops into lava as soon as I stand on it. After that is some rocks blocking my path, for the life of me I can't work out how to get past this bit, I tried going over the bridge with the bombs but that doesn't work, tried dislodging the thing holding the lava in by rolling but that didn't work, totally stumped. Bet its something really simple too.
Q.Area before second dungeon, I have 3 keys, by dousing I found the one far at the beginning of the path. It's behind some bomb-able rocks near the Volcano Ascent statue. Problem is the closest bombs I can find are too far for me to reach it.

OK so, I'm in the earth temple, I've the bomb bag from the two lizalfos and got the map, I've blown the wall (in the opposite side from the map room) marked with an X within the map, I've pushed a switch which raised a little a plataform in the middle of the room with the rolling rock (main room), and so far, that's all I've done in the earth temple, I want to push another switch in the other side of the main room but I've got some structures blocking the way. In the zone of the X marked in the map there are two dragons spitting lava but I cannot go further in that direction.
Q. Anybody know where the propeller is?

I had the exact same problem as you did! =P Turns out you have to go up to the top near the temple and then slide down the mountain on the far right side if you are facing the temple, or far left if you are facing down the mountain. You have to dash through the room that damages you if you spend too long in there (due to the heat) I can't quite recall which path down the slope you need to take, but I think it's the middle one =P Answer provided by Andrew_DS

Near the second platform switch you will notice there are two pillars/statues sticking out of the lava blocking your path to the second switch. There is also a wall directly in front of you if the statues/pillars are on your right. This wall can be blown up with a bomb to move on. Answer provided by Andrew_DS

So you have blown out the wall near those two statues and entered the area where the dragon heads have lava coming out their mouths? And you can't work out how to get past the metal platform thing blocking the path?
If you take a look at your map, there is another passageway a little further back in the passage, which curves slightly and goes around the platform blocking your path. This passage can be opened by bombing the wall =) Answer provided by Andrew_DS

A.The propeller is in Eldin Volcano, next to the temple entrance. It's right by the fallen tower, that you bombed to access the hole with one of the five parts of the temple gate key. Answer provided by Spidey_BR
Q.How do I defeat the Earth Temple boss? I have no idea what to do here...
A.Bowl bombs at Scaldera when it is at the bottom of the slope, and then once part of its shell cracks off and it gets stunned simply strike it's eye. Then keep doing that until you win =) Answer provided by Andrew_DS

Where is the Ancient Flower at so i can trade it and get the robot fixed so he can get the windmill propeler working so i can get the first sacred flame?
Q. I am now stuck in the desert, i have to power up 3 "generators" to access the mine, i believe, i have found the first two without any problem (the lighning and fire ones), but i have now been searching for the last one for over an hour and it is beginning to annoy me.
Q.In Lanyaru Mining Facility, after you get the Gust Bellow and you end up back in the room with the 2 barred doors (wooden bars like jail doors on your left and in front), what do you do? I don't know how to open either door.

There are at least 3 Ancient Flowers just laying around inside the Lanayru Mines. Just run around you should see some flowers on the ground you can pick up. Answer provided by syko5150

A. you need to activate the 3 switches inside of 3 different facilities to access the third dungeon. Use your Dowsing ability to locate all 3 of them. I can't remember which were which, but I know that one is in a facility to the north, then you need to bomb a wall for another switch, and the last one is behind one of those statues that you need to toss a bomb in to make it fall over. If you open your map you will see a hidden path in the sand that you will be able to cross. Answer provided by syko5150
