Gaming Can I play pc games w/ these system specs?

HI, I'd like to know if these specs are good for gaming at all and what games do you think I could play. Here are my specs.

I want to know if there is something I am missing or if my computer is just lame. Even Minecraft lags on low settings. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

That doesn't say the most important thing for gaming, your video card. Go to Start button, run, type in dxdiag, press enter. Go to the Video tab, tell us what it says under Name:

It says 'Intel(R) HD Graphics

Intel HD is just a chipset and will be limited to what it can play.

that signifies you have a Intel onboard video card, which is total crap. The only games you'll be likely to play are veyr old games and games with insanely low requirements.

EDIT: Geforce 8800 if you can find it, or GTS 250 or GTX 260. They are the cheapest cards you can get that are actually decent enough to run modern games.

Minecraft actually chews up tonnes of resources.
Minecraft's the only PC game I own that lags, it's weird like that.

Nah that laptops pretty nice, don't blame it for being a laptop. Just get a desktop for gaming.

Honestly your best choice is to go to a local Best Buy, Fry's, Microcenter, CompUSA, whatever you have near you, and ask them. Tell them your budget, and say you want the best quality gaming desktop you can afford.
