I can say that the DSTT supports SD cards larger than 2GB.
Mine didn't, but it could have been a knockoff or a very early model. I remember trying to use either a 4GB or an 8GB micro SD, and it did not work at the time. I also remember copying the content from that 2GB to the newer micro SD, but that did not help. Maybe a firmware update would have helped, but I lacked the tech knowledge back then.

Surprisingly, that unbranded 2GB micro SD still works from 2010.

DSTT does not support firmware updates except for the DSTT(i) cards to get around the cart blacklist. Maybe the card isn't formatted correctly to FAT32, no? Or its likely a fake card for all I could theorize.

In my signature you can find formatting tools that'll become of use.

It probably was formatted to FAT32, but I am not 100% sure since it was 12 or 13 years ago. I believe that DSTT card only supported the Micro SD format (up to 2GB), not Micro SDHC (up to 32GB). I usually format anything with 32GB or lower to FAT32 for compatibility from 2008 or so. I sometime avoid USB stick or SD cards that are above 32GB because I thought that it can't be formatted to FAT32.

I think that I did try again around 5 years ago before that card snapped in half.

Scrolling through these pics/discussions makes me wish I didn't sell my first flashcart (cyclods) and didn't give away various other ones over the years, or made an effort to find ones that got lost somehow. I had a dstwo, but who the hell knows where that went, I think an ex maybe stole it. Still got my original acekard 2.1 I got, which is what I use in my lite still. Used to order a bunch of them/3 in 1's to sell to friends at school from realhotstuff. I think my lite-sized 3 in 1 is busted, though, the fat one is still kicking though.

I remember a friend in high school told me to join this site to find out what cart to get (he had the og non-clone r4) - don't think I got the cyclods until sometime in early 2008 though.

Time flies, seems like yesterday.

DSpico probably, only very few test units out there currently.
Youd practically have to be part of the dev team to even know how to get one
No developments have been made out of it currently to my knowledge, only the devs have a physical cart. A lot of info about them is gatekept within the community so as to not spoil it. Never seen any updates about it as of writing.

I think the rarest DS flashcart is the original R4
Not necessarily. They can be found easily on eBay or second hand marketplaces. They are very common to find, that is, if you find the correct one with (r4ds(.)com) on it, and not some other knockoff that uses the same branding.

Give it time.
Eventually the community will pull through.
I believe in them.

Had to rummage through a lot of shit so this picture better be worth it.

These are all my DS flashcarts. The boxes' contents are complete, except for the R4 with the cartridge on top, which is missing its SD card reader. My TTDSi is missing the cartridge label, though I still have it somewhere. I own several different revisions of the DS Fire Card - one has a micro USB cable that looks a bit different and another one has a DS Fire Link that uses a stronger type of plastic. The two loose R4s are ones I rescued from a garage sale. Both SD cards were corrupted beyond repair, but a complete format and reinstallation of the firmware fixed it up quite good.

Kinda glad I got everything out of storage now so I could sort through the boxes and make them complete again.

Added a DSTT to the collection since then. I only bought this one for ntrboot though.

A lot of the popular ones like the AK 2.1 and DSTWO are becoming more difficult to find.

Same maker did these ones, too. To me they appear to be R4iTT Acekard clones branded as "3D R4i", has red solder mask with the text 'SDHC' written on there, identical to that of r4isdhc(.)hk before they did Ace3DS+ clones.

It can and will run the BL2CK kernel and TWLMenu++ on them.

If anybody has a link to their website, do let me know. I would be interested in learning more.

The DSpico is alive and the release date is near, and nothing has been "gatekept" in any way, anyone who asked Gericom or me received quick answers regarding the project, is just that no one behind the project wanted to spoil anything in the form of visual media yet, because this isn't something simple that can be made in a single month, it actually took years to properly shape.

This being said, a thread has been opened yesterday on the DSi mode Hacking Discord server, showcasing its main features and details for the public, and a thread in this forum will follow in the upcoming days.

Whilst not a flashcard, I do still own a SuperKey, Passcard 3 and a SuperPass 2.
Rare flashcards.. I guess the DSTwo? I got 2 of them, one dead?
Do you still have the dead one? If so would you be willing to open it and share pics of the shell parts? Mine fell apart and I am trying to recreate the CAD file as accurately as possible

Mine would be the DSTwo like many others, still in use in my DS Lite even though its only used to play music nowadays.

But i should take the time to swap it out with another flashcard and put the DSTwo in my not broken DS Lite since its my broken hinge DS Lite that's used to play music in my room.

I'm glad to know that it's still being worked on today, since there weren't any updates in the coming months I thought that they had stopped. Cheers.

My First Flashcart that came with my DS Lite and Pokemon Blue Rescue team was Acekard 2 packed with 99 Games that mom bought it on spain. My Dumb self threw it on trashbin idk why but If I remember correctly It felt like its very wrong but I did. Currently owning Ace3DS X, R4 Original and M3.

Just my opinion. An original, legit, R4. But I could be wrong about that. How about the CycloDS? An overpriced overhyped flash cart. I got a deal on one from a company I was doing business with in China that's the only reason I have one. SuperCard DStwo is the best of the best, how about that one? Those are super hard to come by these days.
