Can you give me the link of the clean roms? because I tried several clean roms and drag it to the .bat files that are given in this thread, but it is always said in the patch that I should use the clean rom, not the patched and trimmed roms. but I have try the clean roms from some website on the internet and the result always the same.
No asking links to roms.
Anyways I have been having same thing! I already tried several roms and older patch accepts them.

E: This file should work:
filename: b-zombieds.rar
MD5 of NDS: 1D4EE6CDD52E3FCAA9A4B6647854A174

It says to use clean rom even after succesful patching so there's bug in .bat. I would prefer gui patching that I could keep all the patches nicely just in case. 0.20 patch doesn't seem to have even first tutorial translated?

I didn't play much further than after the basic tutorial, as there was nothing translated at all, at first I thought I didn't apply the patch properly, but it seems I did. So I downloaded the old patch, where the tutorial is translated. I have no idea what exactly has been translated in the new patch, but I couldn't find one bit of English text, I somehow cleared the first level after the tutorial by chance, tho I have no idea what was required (I'm guessing getting the big present? As one of my zombies picked it up by chance while I was doing other stuff on a far away point of the map.) and afterwards I just stopped playing. Not that I want to complain or anything, I'm very glad, that this game is getting translated at all, I just think the tutorial should be incluced in the new patch, as it was already in the old one.. oO

But in any case, I'm thankful for the translation and hope it will be continued!

Ok, so, I got caught up in another project of mine to try and keep me afloat since I'm still looking for a job -_-
I couldn't go as far with the translation as I would have wanted to, so in the end, I'll probably release a "final" version soon, and stop working on it, I have far more important things to do right now in my personnal life
If I ever get a stable job, I may come back to the translation, but for now, it'll be on hold for an undetermined period

Anyway, as I said before, the main things are translated, I just wish I could have done the multiplayer explanations, but the rest is just the story (not that hard to understand even in japanese anyway, pretty basic stuff) and small things like npc names
The translation at that point is already quite enough to play the game smoothly

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

    but that's a long shot

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
