Omarrio, do you use any specialized tools to edit the Eboot.bin / Boot.bin?
That's my last hurdle to translation, as I finished mostly everything else, I know that at least in Tag Force 3,
Boot.bin contains System Messages, Duelist Names, and Recipe Names and I haven't had any luck in changing it.

Eboot .bin contains EHPs, several, you should find their header and extract them

Hmm why not just release the previous version for download first? I mean we could re-patch it again once the new one comes out right? We could have a little sneak preview of the game first :)

PSP games will work on jailbroken PS3 consoles, but not all of the CFWs can play them. I think the only PSP game that can't run even on jailbroken PS3 is the merged version of Final Fantasy Type-0.

I guess i gotta wait till the translation is online to see if it works.

I know this won't affect the speed of your work (and it shouldn't) but I'd just like to say it would make a sweeeet christmas release! =D

Apart from that, thank you very much for working on this, I think all YGO fans will appreciate it. Thanks again, man. And I hope you have a great year-end anyway! =D

    I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer

    @TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one ;)

I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!

    I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
