IMO all the mainline 3D Mario games are really great and it's hard to choose a favorite among them (64, Sunshine, Galaxy, Odyssey). I think they're all better than SM3DW, but there's no good reason to flame you for your opinion.

hehe that's so true. I absolutly hate Sunshine because of Fludd. If they removed that annoying mechanic it would be a great game imho.

i also hate sunshine mainly because of them annoying platforming 3d levels some are insanely hard and simply not fun to do. galaxy's are fun for the 1st few worlds than they just turn into not being fun anywhere. MOD is just non stop fun the whole game.

Just got 999 Power Moons. The 100% reward was a bit underwhelming but still better than the 900 Korok Seeds reward. 10/10 nonetheless.

Alright having finished the story line I have to say the game grew on me but still not amazing. But a solid 8 by the time I got used to the not so great camera...

I've finished it now and I'd give it an 8.5 pushing to a 9. Dat sandbox level design was pretty great.

Amazing game! I bought a 3rd switch just to play it while keeping my other 2 on 1.0 for hacking reasons. I've only played like 3 hours so far and it's made the purchase worth it. But now I'm broke until I pay my taxes in a few months lol

I think it's really good. Maybe not as good as 64, but better than the rest. Mario 3D World and Land have probably been the weakest 3d Mario games.

I like the way it looks, the music is good. Can't really comment on how it controls, I only watched people play it not play it myself. Nice to see Nintendo embracing HD and visual appeal as well as their gameplay. I remembered when people taunted nintendo for the wii not having HD graphics over is quality of games, but nintendo is warming up to the high resolution of things.

So giving out 7, 8's these days are considered hate reviews ? Lmao. The most honest review would be projareds. What does even a 10 mean anymore with every fucking game getting a 10 or a 9 these days. A 6 or a 7 meant good in the old days and 9,10's were given in really really special cases but these days almost every fucking game is getting a 9 or a 10.
Just stop calling it even a 10 point system when reviewers only use 2 numbers constantly. Everything below 8 is considered a hate review these days ! I call it being honest and not biased as fuck. I'm saying it's more around an 8 and i''m getting constant shit everywhere from these toxic Nintendo fanboys on every single website or media platform. Community is so toxic these days and especially the Nintendo community

Who cares about a scoring system for a game, if you enjoy it, just play it and be happy. People hate lots of stuff i enjoy and I could care less what a review says. Most of the times I play a game and then read a review and before i do determine what would be in the review and what would be addressed, usually I'm right but just mean I'm observant. But if i review a game or comment, does anyone care, I'm sure they don't unless they ask me. I'm sure those number scores for reviews is just to cause drama at this point.

Well I do, if a game got ratings around 4/5/6 I wont buy it.
But I agree with Kumikochan, those 10/10 reviews doesnt mean a fuck these days. Yes mario is great and fun, but not the superb game.
