It freezes occasionally but I think that is a problem with my M3.

Yes, he used google. This isn't meant to be a translation to take on the official one. It's simply there to last us until the us/euro release.

ok, i did a few tests and it seems that:

-NAP doesnt work
-M3 doesnt work

however, reapplying the fix on your NAP and M3 patch, results in both patches working. when replacing the ARM file in your m3 patch, i see that they are both the same size, however i dont have a way of running a file comparison right now.

i will try to make a patch of my working nds, and applying it to a clean rom. if it works, ill let you know =]

my patch works! yay lol, even though i have done close to nothing in comparison to yaymii ^.^

This works 100% fine on the M3! I have not yet recieved any type of freezing whatsoever and the Pokegear works!

How did you get the text file for the game? And then how do you extract it,put in translated text etc?
I'm looking to translate a different game with google translate and that'll be fun

YayMii used thenewpoketext, designed for Pokemon games ONLY. So unless you are planning on translating a Pokemon game you won't be able to use it.

but anyway, the pokegear doesnt freeze, its the random freezing like
walking around, or after a battle..

I was using XXLANCEXX's NAP patch on the xenophobia rom on my M3 DS Real, on the latest firmware. The saving works, and only froze rarely, or if the Pokegear was used, but that's now fixed with the M3 Patch.

But, weird thing is, since the route leading to Goldenrod, my game freezes every third time the screen goes black, for example, leaving a Pokemon battle, going through a door, using bag or saving.

I know everyone has freezing issues, just wondering why its every third time, without fail :S

M3 one.

It freezes randomly e.g. after battles or when walking around. Not that common though, only started about 20 mins after I started playing it then about 5 mins after that...

Try using the AP patch and not using the PokéGear. Does it still freeze randomly (excluding PokéGear freezes)?

for me, the AP patch wouldn't allow me to save, but the NAP did, as does the M3. However the NAP and M3 both freeze every third door entry/battle
