Hi everyone! Like somebody knows, in may I made a preset configuration for XCDE. Welp, recently I finished the first game (oh god, what story) and I started XC2, so... I made the respective preset for the second entry of this saga. This is for yours, enjoy it:

- Improved lights, shadows, bloom and ambient oclussion: Now the game has better lighting and better screen effects.
- Disabled TMAA: I tried to make the preset with TMAA because I like the effect that produced in XCDE, but in XC2 is a lot worse, so, after so much tests I had to disable it.
- Improved Antialiasing: Now the edges of objects and characters within the game are better defined
- Rendering optimized: I traid to maintain the best graphics settings without FPS drops and I think that this is the most stable configuration I'd do.

Highly recomended my OC preset to avoid performance problems:

Code:
docked_cpu=1600
docked_gpu=844
docked_mem=1600
handheld_charging_cpu=1600
handheld_charging_gpu=460
handheld_charging_mem=1600
handheld_cpu=1300
handheld_gpu=460
handheld_mem=1600

Highly recomended to put brightness to 1/4 of the bar: (----|------------------)

I hope opinions and that you enjoy it :grog:

If there's still people trying to get XC2 looking better, I would advise you not to use DunArd preset like it is, because of the shimmering accross the entire game which can be unbearable in some areas. For example, in Uraya at night, some blue particles over the water should not be that pronounced, it litteraly hurts the eyes. It has some good basics, so enable back tmaa, decrease shadowStr from 1.3 to 1.1, put red_hdsclX=0.90 and red_hdsclY=0.95 back to 1.0 (I don't even understand why he chose something different than 1.0 when the whole UI won't even look as crisp that way), and maybe decrease AA_Sharpness from 16.0 to 12.0, that's on your preference. Also I disabled blur and blur2, because they're just too present, and even disabled, the game still has some motion blur which I find sufficient enough.

I uploaded the right file, you should still use his recommanded OC, but you don't need that much CPU OC (and it's dangerous for Erista Switch), rather choose 1428MHz.

It's the same for his XCDE preset, it has too much shadows and other things are quite off, so the best thing you should do is try yourself.

Alright, I finally got the mod working on Version 2.1.0 using the "New method" since the "Next Method does not work on the recent update. here is a screen shot of what the file layout I have. Disabling the Anti Aliasing, Sharpening and Dynamic-resolution is still possible.

Note: I should mention that this is on Atmosphere 0.18.1.
nope, I can't get it work on 2.1.0 I guess I'll go back to 2.0.2
I'm using AMS 0.19.4 - Firm 12.0.3

Stupid question time--has anyone managed to get this to work on Ryujinx for 2.1.0 using the new method? I can't seem to.

Same problem for the 60fps mod--can't seem to get that to run either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :D

Does anyone know why sometimes the character has a black face? Whether I set the time to day or night, the character still has a black face in certain scene.
I'm using MasterH@X's file.

(Sorry, I'm a new member so I can't post the direct link)

Probly because of this
Code:
toonDirType = Sun

Change "Sun" to "Camera"

Ok, I figured it out.
Folder name needs to be "0100E95004039001" not whatever ryujinx points to when you select choose mod folder.

Once I did that all of the changes were reflected instantly.

Thanks, worked for me for the shader file.

I still haven't figured out a way to get the 60fps mod to work with Ryujinx though--any luck there?

hello! masagrator~

Is it possible to change fps ips and code from v2.0.2 to v2.1.0?

Bugs don't matter. It should work for v2.1.0.

v2.1.0 BID is like F77F1559371C0EC6D50E78774AC59D95

The file created by @theboy181 is forcibly raised to 60fps, so the game speed is doubled. I would like you to take a look.

I want to ask is the ssa option has much effect on the graphics in the game? Should I leave it on or off ?

I'm using a MasterH@x file and overclock CPU 1428, GPU 537. But the framerate still drops in some areas, especially in combat and chain attacks.

I feel like the framerate dropped to 24-25fps
