Hardware Xbox/ PS4/ switch/ other controller to wii u adapters

Have anyone tried any Xbox/ PS4/ switch/ other controllers to wii u adapters such as brooks adapter etc. How did they work ? Any lag or performance issues?

I want to pick up an actual joystick controller but Wii u controllers are sold out.

I Use the Switch Pro Controller on Wii U with Hid to Vpad, it's work well but crashes with some games like Bayonetta

I use the Brook Universal PCB in my fight stick and works great with Xbox One, PS4, Switch etc, I dont find any lag, isnt the cheapest option when add in the cost of pcb, fightstick, modding it etc, but a truly versatile piece of kit if you like that type of controller
