According to the patent application, the Xbox handheld attaches to, and charges, an existing touchscreen device, like a smartphone. The joypads are clipped to the phone case in a bid to offer more immersive, console-like gaming. It's unclear whether the console would play mobile games, or streaming console-quality titles from Xbox Live

communicates with the handset via Wi-Fi ,built-in stereo speakers, and a headphone jack for that full immersive audio experience,supports wireless headphones, the controller will feature independent batteries which are removable and the Xbox Cloud will charge in its accompanying docking station

To be honest, I think Nintendo started a Console-Handheld Hybrid Revolution. (doesn't that just roll off the tounge?) It looks pretty cool, also! But....

I don't think that will fit in my pocket.

To be honest, I think Nintendo started a Console-Handheld Hybrid Revolution. (doesn't that just roll off the tounge?) It looks pretty cool, also! But....

I don't think that will fit in my pocket.

Well these variation existed for years with cell phones just that there was no good games to take advantage except for using emulators.

But like i've been saying the gaming world is getting ready for 5g within 1 to 2 yrs there is going to be a very powerful connection. One thing to note Nasa has been claiming 5g frequency will interrupt signals that satellites use to monitor climates so we may get a delay or a half ass built system
