Hello everyone,

I am new to the console fixing/modding scene and recently decided to get into it. I picked up an old Xbox, it has the Corona board and has a RDOD I think I am getting the 0012 code and I have read that it is usually caused by the R4D5 and R4D6 resistors dying, they are 0 ohm resistors so logically I would assume I could just jump them, but I have read lots of warnings saying not to do that. Does anyone know if its actually safe to do so or if I should just buy replacements and wait for them to arrive.

Also, I could be completely misreading the code. It could be 0120 but apparently that doesn't exist, hence why I assume its 0012.

Sorry in advance for my ignorance, any help would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Tested them with a multimeter, R4D5 is definitely faulty. It's reading 50ohms when all the others are 0.01ohms
