Trying 0.2 now, it seems much better stuttering wise. Also my old saves won't load and just freeze the game. Is it normal?

sadly due to the way the save system works, it can easily take a lot of file operations. depending on the situation it might take 2 seconds or 20 (or more). But I find it to be much better now

jokes on you, with my shitty SD it takes around 1-2 minutes. It's pretty bad

On 0.2.0 running on Atmosphere HBL 3.0.0 on 6.0.1 there is now a regression.
If you launch xash3d from "gallery" HBL, and simply press the home button to exit - the system now hard crashes, and you have to reboot. If you use quit within the app - same error profile.

A patch has been released that should hopefully address this issue for everyone

You didn't read topic. Its not supported by SX OS Album applet. You need to install NSP HBMenu and run it from there.

i own all 3 of these on steam, i copied my valve folder when using the halflife nro. On steam these games all seem (i think) install into the same directory as the orginal halflife game. With all 3 games installed, is it just a case of copying the valve folder to cover all 3 games?

edit: notice the gearbox and bshift folders in the parent halflife folder. Im assuming thats opposing force and blueshift. I dont have my switch at hand to test!

using SXOS, If you press the home button and then close the app using X, it closes without crashing. not a clean way to exit but it works

That's correct, valve is just HL, gearbox is OpFor and bshift is Blue Shift.

can i also confirm, on the release notes, the custom game menu mentioned is the extras.pak? Can i/do i add this extras.pak to all 3 base folders?

Any chance on elegantly quitting the game? If I click the home button or trying to quit from the main menu it crashes my switch. I'm using the latest atmosphere.
(also, is there any way to enable English subtitles somehow?)

Game breaking bug here: Wherever i go, whatever i do, all NPCs dies in a certain radius from me. That means i can't even get out of the transit system at the beginning because Barney dies!
