Although I haven't ever bricked or semi-bricked my Wii, would like to know the steps that I need to take in case of a semi-brick. I am completely unprepared if a semi-brick happens, or a full brick for that matter. I already know what to do for a full brick, but what files should I have or what should I be prepared to do in case of a semi-brick? (Don't worry. I am not currently doing anything right now that would damage my Wii.)

Install preloader
In case of (semi)brick, you can boot directly to HBC to do what is necessarry to restore your system (reinstalling system menu for example, or deleting a corrupted wad file)
