Hi I bought a RCM loader on Aliexpress (type B). (i added a picture in attachement)
I connected it to my PC (through the usb-cable), and i wiped out all the data that was on the RCM loader... Stupid me... (the maps and all the files)

So, now my RCM loader does not work anymore.

Is there anyone who knows how i can put back the files on the loader? Or does anyone has these files (copy?)?

I hope anyone can help me...

Thank you in advance!

I got my rcm dongle working again, I can start with atmosphere, and I even can open tinfoil 2.0 .
But when I have downloaded a game in tinfoil 2.0 or put an nsp file on my sd card and install it... there is a problem with the verification or the 'ticket'. (My switch wants to check if the game is mine...). And then the game doesn't want to start...
I added the patches when you click it from the site sdsetup dot com . Do I need more patches or newer?

Did I missed something? Can anyone help?

Use Kosmos instead with the sd site. If it still won't install, in the hekate bootloader there should be 2 buttons somewhere in there to fix archive bits. Run both archive bit fixes. That's what my issue was. I know the kosmos build has the fs patches so you can install official nsp files. Sorry if that's vague, in a game I don't want to close atm so i can't look through the hekate menu to see exactly where it is.

If you wiped it, just download the latest firmware and put it over. It will "reinstall it".

    it really makes the original steam deck look like a janky prototype

    Don't really know what a sd 2 would offer besides ips display updated chip 32gb of ram heard even shadows is still OK on sd

    @UltraHurricane,
    Eh, screw anything that draws more power and is prone to burn-ins

    there has to be a MAJOR jump in mobile x86 hardware to justify a steam deck 2

    Early SteamDeck did have light bleed iirc

    But hell refurbs are under 300 now can't really beat that price

    @Skv0ra actually
    the oled SD actually has 1-3 more hours of battery life vs the original

    I wish we were still in netbook era got too spoiled by good quality phone screens

    i don't feel any FOMO getting a Steam Deck
    cause the ROG Ally and Legion Go has similar-ish performance with higher power consumption and at that point i'm just like "i might as well play this on my desktop" :/

    AMD needs to hurry it up with their next gen of chips then
  • K3Nv3 @ K3Nv3:
    Eh even with next Gen if it can't run on SD no need to go out and buy another $600+ device really
  • K3Nv3 @ K3Nv3:
    Your money tho
  • UltraHurricane @ UltraHurricane:
    i don't need another device like the steam deck for awhile, i much rather they take their time to make successor hardware then rush out yearly iterations

    I can't really even justify buying a 5090 personally it's just a flex
