ROM Hack [WIP] Sm4sh Save Editor

OK, I've been trying to fix my save file, I've used the fix save button on gudenaurock's tool and I've manually replaced 0x12-0x16, nothing works for me. I don't want to lose and replay over 100 hours of Smash again, so is there any way I can fix my save file?

Hello, I´m using SBB43DS save editor and save manager on my New 3DS XL (US) with Ironhax on the latest system version. I´m trying to feed a LV. 50 Pac-Man amiibo some hacked equipment so he can beat a friend so he can stop bragging about his skills in smash, but none of the hacked equipment appears on the feed amiibo screen. What can I do?

Hey @gudenaurock , I've been using your Editer to do most of my SSB3DS Equipment editing, but I have to use Flurry's "Smash Pow" to edit the prefixes of equipment properly.

I've run into a problem recently: Smash Pow won't read any equipment past line 20. It used to read up to line 147, but now it's nothing but "null" 21 and beyond. Your Editer can read all lines properly, but not prefixes (for example, the "Dodgy Dodger" in "Dodgy Dodger Protection Badge").

Would you please fix Editer so that it can edit equipment prefixes properly? If not, do you have any idea what might be causing Smash Pow to malfunction?

Thanks for any assistance. I've made some interesting equipment setups that actually transfer to the Wii U, thanks to your Editer!

UPDATE:
I think I figured out the source of the "null" problem. Smash Pow won't read past any equipment with the "Sprinter" prefix.

After changing the "Sprinter" piece of equipment to a different prefix via Gudenaurock's Editer, I was able to read and edit past that line once again in Flurry's Smash Pow.

SSB 3ds Badge Editing format

I first use gudenaurock's editor and save my changes, then I open the same save in Flurry's editor and right click->Set every equipment that I edited or added. Then I go back to Gudenaurock's editor and use the arrow keys to highlight all the equipment really quickly, then save (This last part is just a precaution, it probably doesn't serve any purpose). That may fix your problem with Item names. Side note: on Flurry's editor, the name will change (ex: Mr. Saturn Coat becomes just "Coat" but in-game it should show up properly)

Oh, yeah, note about the range value: I managed to use data from a badge with an effect to create a few hacked badges that passed nintendo's cheat flag, using the calculations from the ssbwiki equipment page. wierd thing is,

it has a range of -1 - the byte is actually "FF" - which i can't select normally in your editor (effects being added locks range at 2), requiring that i change the value in a hex editor instead.

also, connecting to an online lobby with customs already on results in a disc, entering the css from the options menu while customs is on results in a disc, and winning a match has in my case always resulted in a disc; however, after loading up these pieces of equipment to others, this never happens to them, leading me to believe it's an internal problem
