You can do either, as long as you are on 9.2 and below. Some fws have been reported to not work, like 8.1 on n3ds and such.

Fantastic! Now, if Gateway screws it up, at least I can get a Sky3DS and be able to execute this on my N3DS :D

This also means I don't need to run around trying to find a Cubic Ninja PAL retail copy. Believe it or not, the only place I know that has a PAL copy, and he wants 100 dollars for it :angry: I would rather get a Sky3DS at that price :P

Why not buy a pal copy off of eBay? Surely it will be cheaper than 100$ O.o

I was thinking about it, but now that I can do this method with Sky3DS, do you really think I should get a retail copy?

I mean I am going to get a flashcart sooner or later, whether it be Gateway or Sky3DS only time will tell. I am getting a PAL copy for 25 Euros, but I would rather invest that money in a flash cart. Don't you think?

cubic ninja with emunand and extra permissions for stuff like save dumping/editing.....plus if they do manage to do what they have set out as their plans it would be a cubic ninja free exploit for everything except the n3DS.....which is not a bad thing

Well if it has the ability to install signed content (aka, system updates, games you have tickets for) then for me, it will be a much improved/better "rehashed" ninjhax. :P

Not to mention they do plan to make a version for DS Profile Exploit and spiderhax so it's not going to be limited to Cubic Ninja owners. It's just that's what they are focusing on as the primary entry point until they have a finished result. They will make the other entry points once they have a finished product to work with. :D

i suppose that the Firm loader homebrew will remain private ?
And congrats in getting this far in so little time, all of the KARL3DS team

Edit : BTW, was that emunand run on N3DS ? (i couldn't see properly on the video)

Yes, it will remain private for now. And his was an Old 3DS, only me and Relys have an N3DS to test with. I'll probably test it on N3DS tonight.

It was a ordinary 3DS XL

Just for curiosity, but why is private? The code ok, but the binary should not allow piracy right now? Sure you can install .cia stuff, but the firm is not yet patched to allow to run code you have not the ticket, right?

If Relys gets his hands on this firm loader homebrew I don't think it will stay private for long! I expect a release any day now B-)
