The urls for the online are stored in the game so you just patch the game with hans or luma its how mystery machine works.

Would this be a good place to mention my Miiverse recreation-in-progress, Openverse?

It's like 2% done and is written in very rough PHP code, so I'm not taking any testers for a while, but at least it's something.

Also, I could probably help out on this if progress is actually made. I know tons about the REST side of Nintendo Network, and MitMing isn't that hard.
