Its actually authentication, Rei.
What kinda though? Thought ACT (OAuth2 service) did all that.

Also first request to miiverse:
Code:
=================01/25/2017 12:31:11=================
***Headers***
Host: 173.76.42.82
X-Nintendo-ParamPack: XHRpdGxlX2l...
User-Agent: 3DS/POLV-3.0.1/FFFFF
Requested URL: GET
Edited that param for my own security.
Edit: seems using a 3ds with an NNID attached, header also has X-Nintendo-ServiceToken.
This makes much more sense, because the service token is most likely generated with OLV token in OAuth service, but not sure how the parampack is generated. but heres the server response, hehe.

Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<result>
  <has_error>0</has_error>
  <version>1</version>
  <endpoint>
    <host>api-d1.olv.app.nintendo.net</host>
    <api_host>api-d1.olv.app.nintendo.net</api_host>
    <portal_host>portal-d1.olv.app.nintendo.net</portal_host>
    <n3ds_host>ctr-d1.olv.app.nintendo.net</n3ds_host>
  </endpoint>
</result>

Oh didnt know people already did this, lel.. well, if you dont want to go through trouble setting stuff up to get a service token, its fairly easy to do it on PC or 3DS.
3DS way:
https://github.com/Reisyukaku/EShopDebugger/blob/master/source/main.cpp#L197-L208

PC way for now still involves mitm-ing headers from OAuth at least once, but then you can generate tokens and service tokens any time you want.

not sure what service uses nasc or what that is used for but i can log miiverse server or something lol.
FPD/AC has references to it in RAM.
Pretty much an upgrade from the nas/naswii servers from the Wii days.
Wouldn't be difficult at all to fork it or something from altwfc.

Tried to make a custom Miiverse, It didn't go as planned and just caused Miiverse to infinitally load forever
What did you do, did you replace things in code.bin? Miiverse's browser (cave) doesn't allow plain http connections (though it supports plain HTTP redirects to HTTPS?) and of course requires that tls sites have their cert in the certchain.
Maybe someday.

ParamPack is generated in olv itself and contains stuff such as the running tid, country, region, etc:

Code:
\title_id\1407375153044736\access_key\0\platform_id\1\region_id\2\language_id\1\country_id\110\area_id\0\network_restriction\0\friend_restriction\0\rating_restriction\20\rating_organization\0\transferable_id\0\tz_name\America/New_York\utc_offset\-14400\remaster_version\0\

discovery.olv.nintendo.net pretty much only says what domains to use, api and ctr/3ds are used on 3DS and portal is for Wii U.

It'll start PC only, though we could probably make a 3DS or Wii U client if we reverse-engineered them enough.
Probably won't be that hard at all, the only hard part would probably be to get the SSL-cert accepted.
There's really just PJAX and that's it. Of course, Hatena was nice enough to do the browser compatibility stuff for us, heh.

Miiverse probably already has, like, 99.9999% of the research done required for a clone of it to be created, let alone just on PC. I wonder who would use it though.

Um also, I know its kind of a lame question but if you run the CIA would you by chance stay on the custom server forever, or is there a way to transfer back to Nintendo's?

Your GitHub has barely any code in the source and you have a logo that was more important to create than the actual development itself.

Go for the moon and make this happen, many people cab be rooting for you, but ensure you have something to show. As of now, creating this topic wasn't the thing to do yet, and people you could have had interested are lost now because you currently hold more skepticism than belief. I understand you are excited and want to let people know this is what you're doing, but have some patience. Once you have some sort of solid base, then go for it!

Why don't people just leave him be and let him try his hand at developing this. If it fails then that's that. I don't understand how one community can get this cancerous when it comes to homebrew that looks a little too good to be true.
"a little" means "writing a fully functional server that took more then (probably) ten ppl to setup, with encryption and stuff, that which nobody done b4 (on 3ds, that is)(for a reason), as my first project while not even learning my first lang properly..." yeah...

Im not here to say his age is the wrong piece- Ive learned programming in C on 8 bit systems when I was 11, on a large level, and Im not the exception... but I wont say (atleast) Im gonna do a project when Ive not yet made a poc at the very least.... even if it is 1% finished its better then this stuff... encryption isnt easy to RE, just like they sound, yknow...

Eh. So in short, it's basically a 3ds replacement for the online if it's shutdown, but no one really knows yet?

Well i'm not going to be that one guy pointing fingers (right now.) I mean I have had moments when I was working on something (specifically english.) on my PC and all of a sudden have something go wrong many times with my PC, or power.

Why not give the guy a chance atleast. Maybe he could actually end up helping people who do own a homebrewed 3DS.

Also one other question, by chance will this be compatible as a .3dsx (in short basically people without CFW?) Or will it all just be server based by redirecting your internet info to a nassc server? Edit: Through the system settings VIA internet option.
HANS is your friend, look also "mystery machine pokemon"
