I want to use WAD's, but System 4.1 doesnt let you install WAD's does it not?

you just need to install a cIOS, not to completetely downgrade you System, and if you are going to use a guide from other forums, then you should ask your questions over there, you can found the same guide and I believe better explained in here, just search in the stickies for it...!!

Even the [1a] installation guide for GX that I put into the readmii (in my sig) is better.
And it gives a bit more info than the yafaze link 2 posts above me

You can use it to install a cIOS on every sys menu

It will basically install a patched IOS36 into as IOS249
You can then use IOS249 to install a wad
If you have no wifi on the wii, use my guide (found in the readmii in my sig, under [1a] as it contains an offline part. And its more detailed overall)
