Sorry for a double post but I have just seen these drives and would like to know if they will make backups.

According to this thread on making backups, this drive will be compatible with the wii discs.

I am leaning towards the third choice but I would like yor imput on the drives before hand.
    Thanks in advance.

those first 3 links have no model numbers in the discription so there is no way to tell if they work for sure

    look specifically for:
    LG-8164b
    LG-8163b
    LG-8162b
    LG-8161b

once it's delivered and installed, here is rawdump 2.0

You would be safer to order it through Just Computing. I got mine from there, via Ebay, they have a whole lot of stock from old pc's they must have acquired.
