For what I think:

The Switch is fine. For now at least. If the PS5 or the new Xbox do not support the portable element the Switch is fine. This is the main advantage for the Switch. 2 it is Nintendo. A lot of games are only being released on that system. However, the Switch might be in danger when they go portable.

I honestly hope Nintendo busts out of the gate with a new Switch that's just as, if not more powerful than the One X. I'm fairly sure it's possible because of NVidia's Volta architecture, but Nintendo doesn't focus on power anymore. I hope they do considering they've struck gold with the Switch.

you always have to consider batery life, the switch already halves the cpu and reduces gpu speed to save on batery for portable mode, and the batery drains preety fast already.

They can get batteries with bigger capacity, it just costs more. The Switch has a 4,310mAh, and you can get a general battery pack that's at least 5,000mAh.
