Gaming Will i need to update my wiikey to play a backup of ssbb?

Will i need to update my wiikey to play a backup of ssbb?
If yes, I have never updated it before, so can someone tell me what i need, where to get it and how to use it?

ssbb has the 001 protection, so you'll have to update to 1.9g
or use trucha to remove the 001, but then don't update your wii, because the new firmware will later block trucha discs!

freeloader doesn't skip the 001, so you'll still have to update your wiikey
use the update disc for that. I don't know where to get that though, I have a different modchip
