Will I be banned for using adblock on this site?

doubt it, most likely they just have a popup that won't let you use the site without disabling adblock.
I get that mostly when someone links a news website for something which also still exists in dead tree form.
Most other sites I see just have a little passive, or even passive aggressive, message saying please consider disabling your ad blocking software.
I see the occasional website say your can't link or discuss such software but that is hardly banned for using.
