Gaming Will DSi stop charging with unofficial charger?

Hello.
I have DSi with USB charger (only). I charged it for 2 hours and 20/30 minutes. The light didn't go out. Will DSi automatically stop charging with unofficial charger?

Also the official charger output voltage is 4.6V. The USB one is 5.0V.

After charging I checked the battery and it was 4.15V.

Yes, the DSi will stop charging after its 100%, I leave my DSi to charge over night using an unofficial charger and never had problems with it.

The 4.5v is fine, but if the amps of the unofficial charger is lower than the official charger then it may take longer for the DSi to charge.

He said that its an usb charger, usb 2.0 ports can deliver a max of 500mA, and the official charger is rated at 900mA, so it will charge a bit slower but thats fine.

Good to know about it, actually I only use official charge for my XL.
