will delivery with HK post take too long in this period (christmas) ?

if i order now, may the delivery take up to 8 weeks as i read in forums ? even if my country (Algeria) is not concerned by christmas ?

It's hard to say, but right now Hong Kong post itself is very overwhelmed by the Christmas demand, even in your part of the world you'd be affected.

Best case scenario. Plan ahead by a few weeks. I know that for the United States, the last day to order and receive by Christmas was October 29. I even ordered 3 weeks before that and I haven't received everything.
