Hardware wiiu TV controls ?

Just got a youview box , has anyone tried to pair the wiiu tv controls to a youview box and got results , i just cannot link them , i think its more a youview issue than a wiiu issue , as i cannot connect my galaxy s4 either . Any thoughts ?

nope, only ever used it to control the TV itself, not anything else external

pretty sure there is a manual mode tho where you point the remote and press the certain buttons and the WiiU will work out the code itself

Hmm , ill have a look see , i used it with our Sky box , worked great and was used regularly..

Not sure what a youview box is. I think the Wii U works with tivo.

I wish it did control my DVR, still hoping they add that funcitionallity. I believe dvr control was something they wanted to do but not sure if i is still in the plan. I don't think the TVii has been as successful as they had hoped.

i wish they would remove the feature , it annoys me i have a feature that does fek all.
