I tried on the latest version a couple of messages above, and I have not seen any difference visually, I did a couple of screenshot comparisons. I am missing something? The debug message did not appear, though.

And by the way, thank you for trying to look into it, xjskjs197, I appreciate it a lot.

You need to tell me the name and ID of the game, along with a screenshot of the final error message, in order to analyze the cause of the error.

Well, emulator growing better every build.

After some tests:
- Spiderman initial screen (the one with "press start") doesn't show - only music plays; after pressing START everything (?) works fine
- Vib-Ribbon hanged after I lost the game (I played it only once, but this would be progress)
- Advanced Variable Geo gives me DSI error just before fight
- in Worms World Party there is irritating line of glitches at the top of the screen (see photo)

My post is still actual - you can see overscan in photo of GTA (that is best setting for this TV), and changing controller type multiple times is quite annoying.

I said "crisper, but not by much" The overall rendering is still blurry.

Or it's just me having a placebo effect then... but for example, in R4, car textures are slightly less blurry, and the PSX "blocky/pixellated" aspect is a bit more pronounced (which is a good thing) on distant objects or environments.
I'm lazy to launch the previous version to do a side-by-side comparison though. ^^

Hi there, great work! Any chance getting an overscan setting in wii station? I currently have my wii U hooked up to an old 4:3 CRT TV and the image is a tad too zoomed in. Sadly changing the sceen size in Wii U settings does nothing in wii station (perhaps that setting doesn't work in vwii in general).

I just finally started playing MGS1. It runs so sweet. A few audio hiccups here and there but kinda rare. Unfortunately I can't swap the discs for some reason. After I swap em and resuming it, the game still stays on the same "Insert Disc" screen. Am I doing something wrong? I saw some dude some posts ago talking about the same thing. I'm using version 2.2 btw.

I just finally started playing MGS1. It runs so sweet. A few audio hiccups here and there but kinda rare. Unfortunately I can't swap the discs for some reason. After I swap em and resuming it, the game still stays on the same "Insert Disc" screen. Am I doing something wrong? I saw some dude some posts ago talking about the same thing. I'm using version 2.2 btw.

Same with the disc issue. Hope it gets fixed so i can beat it without changing the save so it works on disc 2. Is this issue produce because both disc have different SLUS-XXXXX number?

Is the Snowfield save, just go to the left door above you with the LV.6 CARD and go downstairs. Then the insert disc 2 message will appear on screen.

I did the swap CD thing a lot of times but it never worked.

Thank you so much for this fix for Metal Gear Solid.

BTW, I have reported time ago that music CD ISOs (Mixed Mode CD) didnt get recognized on various PS1 games, but I tested them again with your build u posted here and now they work.

Ridge Racer Revolution now plays the music contained on these when I swap the CD
Vib-Ribbon now gets past of the "Checking..." screen when I swap the CD, and now its music can be played too.

Only issue that i've found, that sometimes the music stops for a milisecond and then it continues to play but starting a few milisecs earlier from that point where it stopped (audio hiccups), like a scratched CD.
Whats the issue there causing this tiny glitch?
(PS: This issue i also noticed that when I swap CD on vib-ribbon, loads the disc and then stops and then loads the disc again, looks like it has load hiccups)

I tested jerret & labonte on the WiiStation 2.3 and it just goes back to the main wii menu after loading, in version 1.0 which I still have on another channel on the wii, it works perfectly with few frame drops

About this issue i've reported after the disc swap fix (btw it fixed Metal Gear Solid, Chrono Cross, mixed-mode CDs (music CDs), etc.), on music CDs it has those audio hiccups and CD "stops":

I've made a test video of Vib-Ribbon loading (playing) a music CD (Mixed Mode CD) for see what's the issue there:
(i'm using your build of WiiStation v2.3)

(PS: i had to cut some parts of the video for only display the issues mentioned, btw i'm using a mixed-mode CD i made for the song PSY - GANGNAM STYLE. (sorry if using a copyrighted song xD, also i'm recording this on Dolphin so sorry for the tiny slowdowns)

The issues shown in this video are:
- after swapping the CD (disc), it displays "Checking...", but then stops reading and reads it again (appears again the "Checking..." screen) for then display the track selection (like a scratched CD).
On PCSX-ReARMed it only displays the "Checking..." screen once for then display the track selection.
- when playing with mixed-mode CDs on any game, the music stops and replays suddenly since some miliseconds before the point where it stopped (again, like a scratched CD).
On PCSX-ReARMed it plays fine without those "microstops" like scratched CDs.

These issues i mentioned happens on all music CDs (mixed-mode CDs), and makes the custom music on Vib-Ribbon to be hard to play because of these "micro-stops". (Compare the parts of the music of this video with the official music/audio on YouTube)

What's causing this tiny issue?

Vib-Ribbon hangs on random moments - it is quite weird, becuase even HOME button doesn't react - pressing RESET button on console brings me back to emulator main menu.
