I have ios 249 and use the multiboot loader using ios249 but it gives me the black screen after I choose a game.

hi Dack ,

it works better now for my softmodded wii

tried it with these games

0.link crossbow - works with saving
1.ssx blur - does not work
2.twilight princess - works but no saving
3.ghost squad - works but no saving

ssx blur i changed the ios to 249 .

it a pity the rest of the games don't save.

waiting to test more.

btw i've tested it with the softmod you pm'ed me

I've been trying to compress a RE4 Wii Edition ISO using the latest version, but the compressed ISO it's generating is the same size as the original ISO. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? I do "Load ISO" then "Scrub".

Thanks for the help.

Can Dack or anyone who has multiboot 1.1 upload it to mediafire, megaupload or rapidshare cause the link was removed cause it wasn't working.

Thanks in advance to the person who uploads it.

It had a different selection to choose between hardmod and softmod and would use different commands to access the disc depending on what was choosen. At the moment the check is carried out on IOS 249 which needs to change as some people have it installed as a different number etc.

It's me again with the first problem

Well, I compared all the files in the created partition with the ones that should be in there and 8! files are different. Seems like PartitionBuilder somehow corrupted 8 .tpl files as they're completely different and only match in filesize.
Maybe I can fix the ISO by replacing that files again, I have to try. But any way I could help you to fix that bug?

EDIT: Nope, replacing the files gives the same result again and trying to replace in Trucha Signer gives "Could no replace the file (code:9)"

EDIT2: I guess you have enough to do with all problems, but I will write another small one anyway: The partitionbuilder.exe which you provided with WiiScrubber 1.4 seems to be corrupted, at least it has different CRC and produces partitions which will result in a header failure or something like that when importing with WiiScrubber. WinRar didn't tell me any error, so I think that's not my fault.

Hmm not working with IOS249 is strange, but the IOS36IOS37 differenence is a god example for the fact that the IOS you want to use has to have the trucha bug. IOS37 never had the trucha bug. Reminder: This loader will only work if the used IOS has the trucha bug! So it won't work for modchip users at 3.4 or half downgraded to 3.2(half downgraded==system menu 3.2, but IOS at 3.4)

About Igor: Does the region of the game match the region of your Wii? I guess not, try disc region video mode. If it's black&white then, you have to wait for quite some time until this multi partition loading is integrated into official SoftChip and i release a video mode patcher based on that.

Hi WiiPower !

About Igor - it is Pal Version - on my PAL WII ... i never updated to 3.4 or anything else ... we can sayi have a nearly "virgin" WII-System ...8)

I will try to burn Igor standalone on a dvd to see if the ISO is broken ...

wait about 15 Minutes ...8)

The whole Multiboot reminds me about the good old times of XBOX (not 360) ...

it would be nice to see a booting System on the Multi-Boot DVDs so we do not have to go to Homebrew-Channel again and again ...
(but that will also break any updates to the multiboot-dol on already burned DVDs - anyway - this would be a nice "addon")

Thanks 4 the great application ...

Just try disc region video mode and see if that works. About the loader on the disc, i would go for an forwarder channel for the "multiboot-dol".

i know that is why i set the games ios to 249 with ios patcher from Waninkoko and it works for gamma but not in the softchip multi iso loader

Ok. To me "ssx blur i changed the ios to 249 " does only mean, you set the loader to IOS249 before you run the game.

@Dack(and everybody else): Did you get one of the IOS Version patching games to work with this?
Could it be that these games not only load the IOS they want, and they open the partition they want too? My 1st guess would be that these games run either fine on the 2nd in the primary set, or the partition which is loaded by the disc channel.

Maybe the game is not scrubbable?

Or maybe you get problems with this, because Resident Evil 4 has an unusal sector size or something like that. When i burned it, there was something i had i ignore, i don't remember completely, sorry.
