Dack, do you plan to add Ocarina into the multiboot loader ?

It would be more easily to add the mutliboot to Gamma/Gecko OS, than adding Ocarina to SoftChip/multiboot loader. If anybody knows how to integrate Ocarina to SoftChip, but really only Ocarina not the rest of the gecko stuff, it might be added to SoftChip.

Which games do not work?

got multiboot 1.0 could someone link the updated version please cant get zombie slayer to load think dack relesed update 2-3 pages back but no longer on rapidshare thanks i think it has an option with hardmod softmod selection.....not sure if he changed the sorce code in anyway but would like to try it out anyhow please

that would be brilliant to implement multi boot into gamma!
but when would this happen?

This is radical!

I have wiikey and 3.2U so I don't really need to worry, but when you go the trucha sign the disc, can't you use keys taken from your own Wii instead of the common key, and use this with an up to date modded system?

My wii is now 3.4E and no problem playing my trucha signed discs with the common key files.

Hmm, you take the gamma source, put in the source for the feature you want, compile, release, done. Note that the original Gamma loader and the 002 fix version require libogc, libfat and DevKitPPC from before december 2008.

Just to let people know:

There is a bug in the partition handling when editing the disc layout.

The basic set of operations works correctly but it errors if you do something out of order. So if you create a disc without a partition 0 entry and then import some into partition table 1 first you get the entries written into the table 0 instead. This can cause the Wii disc to not be seen correctly by the Wii - though the multiboot software handles it.

It will be fixed in 1.41.

Hit the trim button and from the file that gets created, cut the first 0x50000 bytes off it. What left is the same as a shrink and a crypted save of a partition.

So I guess the source won't be release before 1.41? I'm using the 1.31 source right now which helps me a lot, but it can't hurt to have up to date sourcecode

Have you ever thought about using Google Code or something?

Anyway, thanks again for this. I'm glad you're still working on it. Keep up the good work!

is it possible to implement your work into gamma loader for better compatibility reasons?

for example metroid prime wiimake and so on?

great software by the way

It's currently been worked on to get Metroid Prime 1, SSX and Red Steel(and most likely others) to work in SoftChip, while Metroid is the only one of these working in Gamma as it seems. Please correct me when i'm wrong.

OK I got the 1st part about trim and save... How do you go about cutting the 1st 0X50000 Bytes off

Just Call me noob!

Hello,

quick question :
If a game is working with SoftChip R82, will it be playable à 100% with MBoot ???

For example, I've tested this morning "Onechanbara" with SCr82 & MBoot on a normal backup and it works 100% on both.
Will it still working after shrinking & cripting on a multiboot DVD ???

Can we set a rule like this ?

Thank in advance.
Bye
