I would never buy such a device anyway and even less make any apps for it so they would get more sales.

So far they didn't show any pictures or videos yet the release is soon?

Also the Wii U uses drive key that is unique per system how do they plan to obtain it?
You would need an exploit that can access the OTP or get the keys someway and those HW makers aren't really known for making exploits.

Another option that shouldn't be possible is obtaining the drive key from the drive itself, but well you know Nintendo they tend to fuck up in the important parts.

I dont get why some are insulting whoever is buying WiiKeyU. It is the first and only method at the moment that give us hope to play backed up games, preserving our discs and having the easy to store all in one place.

you want homebrew, emulators, media centers so badly?? Buy a HTPC or build one, it will work WAYS better than any console with homebrew and may be cheaper.
