Test if Region Compability has been improved, if they have taken the Apploader from Datel for instance. My personal guess is that the "IPL" option bypasses the modchip completely until you reset the console, would be nice if you could test that also.

Does this update also contain the disk error blocker like in 1.9g?
Since I didn't upgrade mine to 1.9g yet because I'm scared to break my wiikey.
And this update will not break your wiikey?

I haven't heard about those since the creation of...custom firmwares for the PSP...

The dev mode must have been created to help other programmers create programs to be run on the Wii. Thus, this could allow homebrew and CFW's...

If not...I don't really care.

btw, the update blocker, is it 100 % that it will block the update or as I recal someone said earlier in a post "Started the game and got black screen. Game need update" or something like that...
so is it working?

Its just that I belive that in some period of time, that someone will be able to like download the "Updates" in wich are moddified. Taking out the "bad" stuff for us "chipped" wii owners.... ( sorry moderators if this is off-topic =/ )

I hope that in the final release they will add freeloader's "apploader.bin" inside the firmware so that we will have the best region free method right from the hardware

Of course I don't even know if it's possible but it's a good idea
