I read on two German forums that Sonic doesn't work on Wiikey. Did you test it?

no i think he means the pal version Sonic_And_The_Secret_Rings_PAL_Wii-WiiERD, since he is from germany.

according to my sources this release works perfectly.

I read here that the guy cannot get Sonic to run (he doesn't specify which region), but he might also have a bad iso. Don't know...

Here is another one: He cannot get SSX Blur to work.

SSX blur doesn't work on pal consoles at the moment? As far as I know no one with a PAL console can play that NTSC release yet.

xiaNaix and I messed around with a variety of titles on his ntsc wii. we had no issues running anything that we threw into it including ennichi no tatsujin (jp), ssx blur (us), super fruitfall (uk) or warioware: smooth moves (us) (other people with wiinja and cyclowiz chips have reported experiencing DREs on ww:sm when the title screen movie looped for the 2nd time).

Great review; it backs up that I made the right choice choosing a 1st-gen chip. Now it can't get here soon enough!!

SSX Blur and Sonic & The Secret Rings run absolutely fine here. I've heard that you need to make sure your Wii is fully updated to run some of those newer games, though.

When I find something that DOESN'T work, I'll let you know.
