Homebrew WiiFlow problems with DM

So I've been having problems loading GC games in WiiFlow, mainly black screens and shutdowns.
Here's what's been happening:

• WiiFlow detects HDD, but loads GC games with black screen (Wii games work properly)
• USB Loader GX doesn't detect the HDD at all
• Dios Mios applet (by Fix94, I think) works fine, plays all games
• Using newest revisions of both WiiFlow and UsbLoaderGX

Any suggestions? I'd prefer to use UsbLoaderGX, but if there's a fix for WiiFlow, that would be great.
